My 812GTS is a keeper gentlemans Supercar, the 12C has that nice distinctive retro design that I actually love

Yes i saw his review comparing the Ferrari to the Aston.

Glad to know that he is a talented driver. Having placed an order for a DB7, back in the day of that James Bond Film shot in Montenegro, I backed out after taking a test drive. Ferrari was miles ahead. And even today they still are.

I believe that he appreicated the thrill of the 812s handling flaws , sudden oversteer which can ruin your day and total the car

The new chassis, advanced electronics, improved rear wheel steer make the 12 cilincri better and less scary

The 12 cilindri is the faster car Much closer to the 812 competizione, and faster than the 812 superfast

Id like to watch a test dueling the 812 superfast against the 12cilindri on a track.

Not to surprised. What a shame Ferrari. What I got all giddy about is his drooling and praise for the 812SF. He went on about that a few times and seems like he cannot let it go. Makes me feel good as I am not thrilled about the 12Cilantro.

812SF for me will always be something special , but not everyone likes the 812 many don’t like the 12C. Reasons I like 12C is retro styling either you like it or hate it.I love my SF90 spider think its one of the best cars Ferrari has made others will say he doesn’t know what he’s talking about lol. Different strokes for different folks find what you like who cares what others think…I buy them for me and my wife not for others….

The coda go is a party trick. Huge and probably heavy. So a perfect piece to do in carbon if the factory wanted to launch a VS. 12 cilindri in say 4 years. By then the new aluminum Ion starte battery will be available which would help to lose 30 pounds and be safe for the heat of the engine compartment. A few lithium ion batteries have had dramatic fiery
failures in the F12 and 812,

(The battery location in the 458 488 and F8 is a cooler location inside the cars passenger footwell, Safe for lithium ion batteries)

But a simple meat thermometer on the outside and then inside of the thermal blanket that goes around the battery in the F12/812 if anyone doubts how hot it is there. Always lift the hood after the run for the day to reduce temps and help preserve battery and sensor life.

812 is peak 12c Ferrari. 12C lacks the emotion to be better as a drivers car.
