First F430 Challenge converted to manual (Cambio Manuale/Dr S)

It's my pleasure to announce that we now have a world's first F430 Challenge race car converted from F1 to gated manual. It has been done using https://cambiomanuale.com/ (Dr S) kit.

Work has been performed by Forza shop of Sandro Zanforlini in Bangkok Thailand.

Of course if anyone is aware of another F430 Challenge car which has been converted to manual earlier, please let us know! (I could not find any).

Hey, that's pretty cool!

 

I admired the work being done but considering it's a race car does it make any sense

 

It's like dating a stripper. Makes no sense in the long run, but going for a ride is unforgettable.

 

The challenge is probably the cheapest F430 you can buy at the moment and is no longer professionally raced. Guessing although it's not street legal for most of the world, maybe in Thailand it's a different story? If so, makes for a sweet sunday driver or track toy at the very least.

 

What an exciting project and car!

 

The car is street legal and the owner is reportedly having great fun driving it, it's his favorite car now

 

Those cars are rare (less than 50 worldwide estimated in existence) but interestingly there are 2 F430 Challenge cars for sale on FChat right now, one for $110k and another was for close to $300k but now the price was replaced by "call for price" so must be dropping.
