Anyone having problems with the 296?

I think the 20,000 km in 12 months may have something to do with the drop in value . That is a very high use and there are plenty of cars with a lot, lot less KM on the dial .

 

Very true. Hard to pitch a 20kkm 296 up against so many others with delivery ks and not take a serious hit. Historically, once any regular production Ferrari hits 10kkms and over, its value falls off a cliff for the simple reason the majority available have less than 10kkms - so the sale of the high k car becomes seriously price driven. Im actually surprised he only dropped 100 grand - a great result considering.

 

I had the same issues on the way home from delivery! Took it to the dealer the next day and they reset the system. Since then all works fine except EID mode is not available sometimes.

Car is now stored for winter.

 

My European COC says the all electric range is 16km.

Buyers of Ferraris are akin to the average looking guy who is determined to date the beauty queen knowing full well that she is only interested in his financial gifts, yet he convinces himself that she loves him. I may be wrong, but if you read his past few posts im pretty sure his message is being directed at a particular member he obviously has or has held association with at one point.
Its quite a clever/cryptic post actually - makes sense too. Would love him to add more flesh to the bones as he’s definitely on to something from what ive been reading so far. No doubt entertaining!

Maybe for some people and certain parts of the world....
I spend a lot of time in major US and European cities where the cost of even modest real estate is the multiples of any Ferrari product.

All I am saying is that if any car is the reason for being with someone or leaving someone, well... good riddance!

 

When I owned Ferraris, I was hesitant to reveal that fact. When it became apparent, I was viewed differently.

 

And it continues…latest glitch, car starts but won’t go in to gear so off she went in a transporter to the dealer…again…

 

Oh man - sorry to hear that - did you have problems before this? How do they get the car onto the transporter if it won’t go in gear? Winch? Or Lift?

Hi I am not sure how they got it on to transporter. I was not there. Had a couple - smeared window, left side - still smeared. Small issue is that “filter favourites” for favourite radio channels needs to be selected every drive. Nothing big. The most recent one HRO in Hatfield are all over it. Hope they can resolve.

 

Here in Monaco, we have reversed the trend, we meet a very beautiful woman whose Dollars we can see turning like Jackpots in her eyes, we make her believe that we are going to marry her and make her rich, and then quite quickly, we replace her with another... such a person is taken who thought he was taking

 

I think the radio issue is a feature not a fault, unfortunately. Mine does the same. My car has been almost 100% trouble free and up to 2k miles. I did have an issue when the electronics went a little nuts so I pulled the power to starter battery and let it sit for an hour and back on. Cleared everything. That’s my first go to on modern cars before I go to the dealer. I do think this car wants to be plugged in when not in use. One area that I am missing from my past cars is the screeen that showed the status if tires, engines brakes. I see the wireframe but no tire temp or color coding for the other systems. Am I missing something. The only other gremlin is when I set to the car to not lock itself when I walk away…it still locks itself. Minor stuff for me so it still an A+. Sorry to hear about your issues. Not going into gear is a big one

 

I think there’s a lot of wishful thinking going on there. Looking over the vast array of carspotting vids in Monaco, it would appear the only Ferrari owner whos done well with the ladies is CL - the rest no good at all, unless my eyes are deceiving me.

Member Coincid has been making a lot of valid points lately imho, particularly towards the individual he appears to be directing the commentary to. Quite clever actually.

 

So what’s the latest Junaid13? Have Ferrari managed to put their finger on it yet?

 

Quite cleverly? Come on man, we are adults here. If someone has an issue on a forum, one thats pretty absurd and two either call them out by name or address it in private.

We can all just discuss cars here, appreciate the reviews from people who are doing so (which I personally really enjoy), share our own opinions and laugh at some jokes.

I think I read somewhere there is an Emergency “Neutral” mode that lets the car roll so it can be pushed or winched but no idea how to engage that… anyone?
