My wife loves her some Hamilton and wants Ferrari gear with his number. Any leads on where to get that yet? It is Christmas time. edit: it doesn't even have to be Authentic, just good looking.
My Ferrari official gear contact is no longer available for quite some time(more than 2 years) as I have tried to stay in contact with him. I really don't know what happened to him. Shame really.
Get some driver neutral Ferrari gear and take it to an embroidery shop. They can easily stitch 44 or Lewis etc in any font onto it.
So here we go. Probably Hamilton's salary will be paid by itself with the merchandise and media coverage. But remember, the bigger the hype, the harder the fall.
Yet if he does well the denial will rain harder and look ever more ridiculous. Its a potential for him to not do poorly as well. I do expect Charles to outpace him overall. I will buy something if the gear is attractive no matter the number.
I’ve not been on here for a while. I remember the news of Hamilton joining the scuderia was met with mixed responses. I didn’t think there would still be people on here hoping for a Ferrari driver to fail. Weird!
Well to be fair I go way back when he was our ultimate nemesis! Hard to just forgive and forget because he's in red now. I'll just have to cheer twice as hard for Charles!
For years Ferrari supporters have been hating Hamilton with a passion. Are you expecting them to root for him now simply because he will race for Ferrari ?
The exotic lines have been heading for an androgenous fashion look for a while. Just check out the $10k jumpsuits at Ferrari.com. For Hamilton.......I fully expect a fashion line like this. Jaguar just beat them to the gate. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bingo! To suddenly pull for him is disingenuous and the ultimate band wagon move IMO. Also applies to all the Hamilton fans who loathed Ferrari for years and are now suddenly Homers for the Scuderia.
I admired LH efforts with Mercedes, as they built the car to win and he did just that. Id like that for Ferrari. Drivers change teams. Nothing new. Not an issue at all.
Not an issue for me either. I’m just not a fan of his. I’m not going to change my opinion just because he is driving for Ferrari now. No different from the time Prost went to Ferrari.
True, drivers change teams, and most of the time without making waves. But not many drivers have polarised opinions like Hamilton has done for years. According to the comments on FChat, some Ferrari fans have been in excruciating pain because he dominated F1 over almost a decade. Hamilton has been at the receiving end of so many attacks (most of them baseless) coming from so-called tifosi, that it would be unbeliveable to see them rooting for him in future because he will be in a red car. Can a leopard change its spots ? That I would like to see.
No different than Tom Brady, LeBron, Danica or Dale Earnhardt. Every sports fan has that team/player they love to hate. Why would F1 be any different?
Oh, I wasn’t aware that Ferrari supporters hated him with a passion. I’ve always liked him and hoped he’d join Ferrari one day. I think the only Ferrari driver I ever disliked was Vettel, but I changed my opinion when he joined us. I remember many people not being happy about Schumacher joining Ferrari, but I was happy with that move. I think I’d have a problem if they signed a no-hoper like Stroll, but I think even the haters must admit that Lewis is a quality driver.
In an effort to get back on topic, here are some fun items I saw on Etsy. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Really? You must not have social media. Lewis and Max are arguably the two most polarizing drivers in all of F1. Find a random post about either and look at the comments. It's either full on love or deep hate, no middle ground for either of them. Even if you look at Ferrari's own official posts you'll see this pattern. One thing is for certain, 2025 is going to be interesting!!!
I think I understood that Max & Lewis were polarising to many. It’s the Ferrari angle I wasn’t aware of. Do Ferrari fans also loath Max?
We had the same exact situation with Alonso and Vettel. Neither of them could quite get there in red, lets see if the story is different for Lewis. I personally think he will struggle to match Charles, but not be far off, and be done in 2 years, and Ferrari will regret letting Carlos leave. I will be very happy to be proven wrong, though.
