A tdf with essentially a swb body, super rare with incredible race history. It does not get any more desirable than this.

    HI All
Has anyone got a dimension blueprint of this car? I would love to know its width? Is it wider than the 250 gt Lwb california?

    Thanks

    Brendan

Yes owned and restored with all the marque specialists in Modena by the legendary PPP. I had the pleasure of traveling to Modena at the time with him when I had 0895gt also being restored. Both cars were at Bachelli & Villa at the same time.

The last I knew the car was owned by a well known collector and Fchat member. He had the numbers matching engine for many years and when that car became available reunited the two. The work I am told was done by Sport Auto Modena and the car was scene at one of the Goodwood events. My records indicate the car was then sold at auction but it appears to still be in the Greenwich CT area.

The question regarding Interim Berlinettas I have pertains to the shell which was actually piled up next to the dumpster at 600 West Putnam Ave., location for Luigi Chinetti Motors.
Stripped naked, just the body and chassis. I was told it went south to Wayne Sparling when the Chinettis were evicted?
If memory serves me correctly Chinetti Jr. reclaimed ownership in a lawsuit that involved several cars that went to Florida.

I don´t want to be pedantic, but that looks like Le Mans Classic to me with the checkered canvas in the back. Also, those trees look more at home in Le Mans than Goodwood. and finally, the car participated in the Le 250 Tornano a Casa event in 2014, which visited the Le Mans Classic that year. You can see the Interim in this picture of that event.

Peter, I checked with the gentleman that owned the car at the time that was in the picture and he confined it was Goodwood! Yes the car went to the Le Mans event too!

Legend has it that this particular car had the engine from another Ferrari in it and the Gentleman pictured happened to have the original numbers matching engine in his collection of spare parts. He had been waiting for the car to become available and when it did he reunited the two.
It is a magnificent automobile and one I’d be extremely proud to have in my collection.
