    hi all,
my carpets need replacing. my car isn't concours, and plenty non-original parts on it.

i'm curious to people's thoughts between the wilton wool options (like gahh) or velour options (like lakewell).

i understand these will be subjective opinions, and that's fine. i'm just curious what people like/dislike about the replacement carpets theyve used.

also, if there are other current vendors out there, please let us know.

    thanks!

I have installed the GAHH carpet kits in a couple of cars. I was very pleased. It looked right, the pieces were all cut and edged correctly and fit well.

Were they 308 or 328's? If so, how did you deal with the rear carpet behind the seats, knowing that that rear parcel shelf is pretty hard to remove?
    Thanks, V.

Rear parcel shelf is easy to get out.

I used Re-Originals' Wilton Wool carpet in my GT4, I installed it myself over the course of a weekend and it looks phenomenal. A few days ago I stopped at my upholsterer who's doing some Alfa seats for me and told me he's worked with GAHH for a long time using their kits and are very good. Can't go wrong with the wool. Good luck.
