Im trying yo understand the 12 C dash design
There are two binacles; driver and passenger
Each has a shell made out of black -plastic or painted aluminum? As you approach the windscreen is the covering leather (as usual) ?
Or is it alcantara? Or some artifical material like plastic (I hope this doesnt turn sticky like all of the plastic and buttons in the model line-up.

On the outer surface of each display is the standard covering material alcantara or leather?

On the passenger display the lower portion of the frame is in alcantara and the "12 Cilindri" logo badge.

The rest of the lower dashboard on both the drivers and passenger side as well as the glove box is in alcantara.

Thanks! From the picture, inspite of the lack of detail and sharpness, I think I can see that the alcantara has a different look.

The design team intent is to do a mix of alcanrara especially with the lower dash, and lower cabin meaning armrest, center bridge and on the door panel.

Alcantara also wraps around to behind the seats and the rear face of the seats. The front center section of the seat and the small side accents are also in the faux polyester material.

Its again overly complicated. The effortt exceeds the talent. Dazzle with making it as over designed without creating much style

Reminds me of an interior designer who finds purple wallpaper with peacocks paired with Louis 14th looking chandeliers , or a chef who places these little flower petals with gold plated tweezers and has 5 squeeze bottle drawing dots and lines all over the plate.

Then of course comes the bill!

Super helpful but I think you posted the interior in Leather/Alcantara twice and forgot the one with the carbon fiber options :)

Back to the question of Alcantera and the design teams decision to use this in the 12 Cilindri as well as F80

    Is Alcantara as durable to
fading and wear as leather ?

I personally feel like Alcantara wears better than leather. Leather will scuff, marr, wrinkle, and stain. Alcantara is super resilient.
