Has anyone ever changed their painted wheels to a different OEM shade? Looking at a 488 with black wheels but not really a fan. I like the grey painted wheel color better like the one in the pic. Wondering if a good idea or just live with it if I go with this particular car.

People have wheels powdercoated all the time.

Yes I agree but it is not reversible so if you use Plasticolor spray and you like it then have them powder coated if not peel it off and you back to the original you can look on YouTube and see it done on Lamborghini,Ferrari and other cars for very little money

Powder coating a wheel isn't all that expensive. I'm not a fan of the plastic dip stuff it's fine for a Subaru... But on a Ferrari... Let's not be spraying our wheels with rattle cans of removable stuff.

It's probably 200 bucks a wheel retail to powdercoat a wheel. My cost is like 60 bucks. Actually my friend owns a powdercoat place and always does it for 40 bucks a wheel.

Fair enough I didn’t mean to spray them permanently but only to see if you like the colour if you powder coat them and you don’t like them then what, stripping them and do it again that won’t work
