he literally got asked that question in an interview.

If he answers truthfully, he gets told to stop talking. If he says "no comment", he'll be taking an avoiding stance.

He’s completely immature like a teenager.
He just need to shut up when driving.
On top of this, they have all the datas between the two.
    No brainer for me..

Stick Lawson in the 1st half of the season. IF he sucks, then stick Tsunoda in the 2nd half of the season.

Yuki is a Honda driver first and foremost. Honda moved to Aston for 2026. This is the reason Yuki didn't get the seat.

--This year he joined RB from the United States Grand Prix after the team split with Ricciardo, who had not delivered all that had been hoped for over the course of the season.

Lawson scored points from the off with ninth place in Austin, and finished in that position again in the Brazilian GP.

While the New Zealander was outqualified 7-2 by team-mate Yuki Tsunoda (6-0 without sprints), and scored fewer points during their time together, Red Bull felt that he offered more potential because of his technical feedback and mental attitude.

In particular, having robustly defended himself against Fernando Alonso at the United States Grand Prix, and got his elbows out against Perez at times, Lawson has convinced the team that he has the exact mindset needed to go up against someone as tough as Verstappen.--

According to Auto Moto, Red Bull has lost 300 000 Instagram followers overnight after Sergio Perez departure was announced.

I disagree . They lost the 2024 WCC because they hesitated about replacing Perez.
To compound that, they offered a new 2-year contract when everything indicated that Perez was on the decline !!
It was down to poor management, and they have only themselves to blame.

I honestly don't think Horner and Marko can make that big of a decision i.e. money and sponsors. You need the shareholders of RedBull and some VIP's to make that big of a decision. Perez comes with ALOT of tangibles that not only help RedBull financially, but the shareholders and his sponsors. It's complicated.

Also, didn't Domenicali step in and say not to get rid of Perez just yet because it was before the MexicanGP?.....like I said....alot of tangibles.

Whoever makes these "big decisions" wasn't very inspired to propose another 2-year contract to Perez.
All the signs were that he was already in disaray at the end of last season (2023 Mexican GP for example).
It makes you wonder if these shareholders watch the races to get a clue !!
Obviously, if the bean counters are in charge, that's another matter ...

I honestly don't think these shareholders are concerned about Perez's racing. They, and others, are concerned about money coming in. That's the issue.

I get what your saying, but these people are concerned about the "bottom line" on the balance sheet.....and that bottom line should be in the black(profit) than in the red(loss).

They tried to give him confidence again with this contract.
    They failed in this respect.
Without being paranoid one can be wonder if Checo was knowing shameful things about some tricks on the car ..

all (top) teams will have some trick on their car. The rumoured braking thing wasn't even illegal until FIA made a change to the regulations after RBR removed what they did or didn't have. So on that I wouldn't be very worried.

IMO just piss poor management trying to get their driver to drive the car properly. It wasn't pressure that made him drive poorly, it was Perez' incapability of adapting to ground effect cars.
