Any idea the cost factor of having the calibers repainted from red to yellow? and where to get the Ferrari logo for each?...thanks

If you find a good place using high temp paint or colored ceramic powder and properly blasting/cleaning first, pleeeease share! Seems like it doesn't exist.

Mine cost $428 for the front two calipers and the brake decals are available all over the internet if you just search for Ferrari brake decals. I bought about 50 getting the correct sizes. The ones you want are about 3" long.

PPG code for Giallo Modena, the color they use, is PPG 84028. Make sure they cover the decals with clear coat. High temperature paint is not required unless you intend to track her extensively.

I think a performance car should have brakes that hold up to the heat, and shouldn't bubble, peel, and crack if the owner goes to the track. Buuuut that's just me, and mine certainly have been unsatisfied with my aftermarket standard paint.

Nathan- And they will not if you use normal body paint. The pros and I agree that is all you need. Sounds like you got a bad paint job.

Kicking up this old thread to sort of prepare for next year when I change my caliper color to yellow from red. How many people have gone the stencil route with paint versus just throwing a decal on the outside? Also, any reputable sources for decals? I've seen various versions floating around and they're not all the same. Some have an oval dot over the 'i' and some, like my factory ones, have a rectangular section that looks more like a continuation of the line on top. Most of the decals I see have the oval dot and a lot have the carbon ceramic text below, which my factory ones do not.

Also, still open to trade for a set if someone wants red but has yellow :)

The guy that changed the color of mine from grey to yellow does all the caliper painting for Ferrari of Long Beach. He did an awesome job and painted them on the car. He was extremely careful with my CCB’s.

I don’t have his info anymore, but you could call Long Beach Ferrari and they probably have his number. It was $1000 for all four calipers.

He and his helper actually met me at a local detailers shop in Santa Clarita and did everything there. Might be an option for you to have him come to you. It sounded like he would have done the painting in my garage at my house. The detailer charged me $100 to use his shop and he covered the car with plastic to avoid any overspray.

thanks. I’m actually going to remove them since I want to replace the pistons so taking them off is not an issue. Maybe I can send them down. I’m traveling at the moment but I’ll ping you after the holidays.
