Yeah I'm pretty sure I posted the spec of these on this forum somewhere when I had them off...but I'm too lazy to check now. Canadian 355's had "5 mph" bumpers due to safety regulations...I think that means they essentially take no damage up to 5mph? They're heavier, but safer I guess. You can get the 5 mph bumpers with the holes as well, I'm assuming when the car was imported into Canada they didn't take note that this is a later car that had the holes. All early cars had this bumper, US or Canada (without holes).
That won't be worth it if you're paying a shop to have it recommissioned. If you're a weekend tinkerer I could see trying to get it cheap and spending a year working the kinks out, but you'll be into it for $30k if paying a shop imo.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Santa came to Texas early this year. 1995, manual, Blu Swaters over Tan with Carbon Sport Seats. Incredible experience. Thanks to @ShineKen for tipping me off to this car coming to market. Eric at Stradale Vintage Cars was excellent to work with, especially through the process of purchasing a car out of Europe. Looking forward to many miles ahead.
Really nice. And since it's a Euro model it comes from the factory with those orange locating beacons for correct fender shield placement.
A car sitting for 13 years is a project not a vehicle to drive on the road. Allow the owner to bring the car up to street-worthy standards. Then, and only then, negotiate to buy a street-worthy car if you still want it.
Happy New Year gentlemen! I am a little surprised that this hasn't broken threshold for discussion: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-ferrari-f355-berlinetta-21/ Obviously there has been quite a bit of previous commentary in the archives, but since it is back on the block I thought I'd bump the auction to tthe top of the discussion thread.

Sold for $141k. $12.5k higher than prior no sale. For those (like myself) that love an F355 in blue, twenty-five blue F355s have been listed on BAT, representing 7% of F355 listings (25/363) since 2014. It was a curious sale for sure. BaT(RNM) -> PCar(RNM) -> back to BaT without much additional info. I was surprised 1) BaT accepted it w/ reserve, 2) The bidding actually surpassed the bids last time on BaT, and 3) It met reserve this time. Certainly a very nice color combo and very desirable from a rarity standpoint. Hopefully the winner bidder follows through and restores the car to it's former glory.
