FLY EAGLES FLY. Good night Stillers
Steelers are not that great, but if Philly avoids injuries, I'd probably pick them to win the SB. I was never sold on Detroit (defense), Green Bay (young), San Fran (too many issues to list) At some point guys on GB and Philly are going to want to get paid - I don't mean the skill guys, I mean the lineman, and that's when you fall apart. KC has a great team - but the O/L sucks and that's how they lose, plus all the injuries in the secondary. Buffalo's coaching on defense sucks, IMO, as does Baltimore's. Just wait 2-3 years, we will see the Chargers, Cardinals, Packers and Redskins winning in the playoffs. Chicago has a really good TEAM, but everything else about them really REALLY sucks, from the ownership on down.
Did the referees in the Philly-Pitt game have a wager on Philly? Philly starts a fight, a Philly player punches a Pitt player, and they assessed two penalties on Pitt and one on Philly? Unreal how horrendous the NFL officiating has become.
The Raiders managed to embarrass themselves once again, this time as a spotlight game on Monday Night Football. Its just a terrible, terrible team.
Actually they were smart for a change and held onto a better draft pick for now. Winning would have been moronic, something Mark is good at.
This was a terrible call at a critical time in the game... https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/calls-mount-for-nfl-officials-to-be-investigated-after-egregious-call/ar-AA1w09v8
The fan that said that was the worst roughing the passer call is wrong - the one on Atlanta for sacking Tom Brady was the worst ever, next the one called on KC in overtime again on Tom Brady when a lineman grazed Brady's shoulder after he threw the ball.
The whole conversation around officiating in ALL sports is an interesting one..... NFL, NBA, MLB (strike zone).... etc How do you balance the "human element" with the ability of replay and computers to get calls exactly right every time..... if you got rid of all the people and had AI making sure every call is "perfect", does that take away too much of the drama and character of the game?
I don't see it that way at all. ATLANTA embarrassed themselves, they have a TON of weapons on offense and got ONE TD? Against a Crosby-less Raida team? THAT was embarrassing... The Raidas may get a #1 QB, but if they don't have a GREAT OC and a GREAT QB coach and a DAMNED GOOD O/L he will go nowhere. Evidence is - look at Chicago...
What I don't understand is when there is a bad call, it's obvious even on Official's instant replay - and they STILL don't reverse the call. I am 1000% percent convinced officials only call penalties when it is convenient for them to do so, in order to keep a game close so TV viewers don't turn the channel, or so they can keep the game within a point spread, or an over/under total. We see O Tackles line up 3 feet behind the O Guards - sometimes they get a flag for 'illegal formation', and sometimes not, it depends on the score, or if a guy just scored (and the play comes back). You know it's bad when a guy scores from 20-30-40 yards out and the very first thing he does is look back to see if there is a flag on the play. And we can forget about the NBA - they (the NBA) have ****ed up that game so badly it is completely unwatchable.
Based on the rosters, it never should have come down to that, or been that close. Atlanta looks to be very badly coached, I said all along Raheem Morris is a nice guy, but he is NOT a HC. *BUT* I will say parity is getting closer, there are really good teams that are not very well coached, I don't mean the HC so much as all the other coaching on the team(s)
https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/antonio-pierce-were-in-this-to-win-not-for-draft-projections Fire this clown. Stupid teams continue to do stupid things and remain in the basement. F off.
There is no guarantee Sanders will be a great QB in the NFL, will he be like Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, Brock Purdy or Drake Maye? I don't think AP is turning out to be a great HC, but I also don't think he is the one that dumped Josh Jacobs, DaVante Adams, Kahlil Mack or Derek Carr.... to name a few.
That and .10 will get you a vacation in Hawaii over the Super Bowl weekend... Remember when the St Louis Rams won their division with a losing record?
Who do you want to see LV draft first? Sanders may or may not be good - looking at the other 3 teams in that division, whoever it is will be killed by Den, LAC and KC. Only one thing is assured with Sanders - he will have more baggage surrounding him than a Saudi Prince visiting Vegas for a month....
I think Milroe would be fine - IF they let him run around like Michael Vick or Robert Griffin. His shelf life will be 5 years at most.
