Years back I got to hear about a 1983 Ferrari BB512 that was crashed in the northern parts of Sweden. The car has been salvaged for parts for many years now and I was just curious to see if anyone knows about this car as it was imported to Sweden on the 8th of March 2001. The info I have is that the car was red, probably Rosso Corsa with nero leather.

    VIN number: ZFFJA09B000047237
    Engine number: F110A 00638
    Gearbox number: F102CB N632

    Last recorded mileage: 35960 km

Reading an 8 years old post (sorry) I am surprised about import in Sweden 2001, as according to dutch registrations, that car was imported there on 06/06/1990 and exported on 28/11/2017 !!!

47237 would have been a BB512i, not a BB512. Not saying the car does not exist/never existed, and just an observation that this chassis number is not listed in Nathan Beehl's register of chassis numbers in the back of his book Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer, The Road and Race Legends.

Of course, a BBi and not a BB. I got my own list of BBs and I have many discrepancies between Nathan Beehl and my own records. #47237 was in the Netherlands, in the official dealer's shop Kroymans since May 87 and left that country in 2017; BBi chassis confirmed (which also is not always accurate) by F-register web site.

I agree, the Beehl book, while a good book, has my own 78 BB listed as LHD car when it is RHD Australian delivered car, so I wouldn't take it as gospel.
In Beehl's defense, it would be very difficult to keep track of every car.

    #23583 ? Nero over Nero
I discovered today a car very well hidden, #38007, not sure it is on NB's book and I spotted a dozen of BBs for N Beehl which are listed in the 308 register.
    Time for an update ?
