It's not exclusive , it's all hype. Better to lose 10% than 30%.. If you take ownership you better enjoy it because the hit will be big. Very few cars Ferrari sells are exclusive, people need to wake up.

Based on the prices at Cario, it would appear that the early ones at least will make a tidy profit.

For those that have taken delivery, was the app up to date when it started production? Mine was supposed to have started a couple of months ago, then I was told December and so far nothing in the app.

Whether it is Ferrari-created exclusivity or not, it still seems pretty exclusive to me. Very few cars in circulation, lots of demand despite the high price. Ferrari, Patek, Rolex, AP, etc are the masters of creating demand and giving just a bit less supply. The delivery delays have just made them that much more “exclusive” unfortunately.

I don’t think prices will tank until and unless a flood of supply comes at some point. Until then people will want what is hard to get.

Regardless, whether I/we lose $200k or make $100k after the 18 month hold, I think it won’t change any of our lives, lifestyles, or any of that. We’re privileged to be playing the game. Ferrari gave allocations to established customers…safe to assume most could handle whatever happens with Purosangue values

Mine went into production in February and was delivered this past October and the app was so off, that I only rec'd the VIN the same time as the production photos. I rec'd real time status update for my SA who checked every Monday morning.

I thought all V12 2+2’s depreciate like rocks. Am I remembering correctly? Not just FF/Lusso/Purosangue…

So, nothing really new about this, is it?

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking and of course the dealer is terrible at communication. Maybe I stop by there tomorrow if I have time.

For US customers. I have noticed when walking into several dealerships (yes I have a FUV on order and was one of the "first 1,000 in the world to be offered to order) they have several FUV's one the show room for sale. They are used and have very few miles on them. I inquired about the 18 month hold period. Dealers said the customers sold back the cars to the dealers but would not confirm at MSRP or at a profit. My FUV has been 00 forever which means there is no assigned allocation by Italy. How is it that these customers seem to be able to get early allocations and keep on "flipping"? I know of one person that was no even one of the "1,000" first customers that already got his FUV and of course flipped it back to the dealer.

It appears the only customers Ferrari really cares about are the top 750 in the world who always get the exclusive cars. In other words the richer just keep on getting richer.

Curious if others are seeing these cars in US dealerships that are for sale as used and thus when the "rest of us" get our cars there will be no profit left if you are one that thinks you will make money flipping.

They like the flippers, they get to sell the cars multiple times. I also had an early allocation with no eta but others are driving around with them and have for months. Good chance I cancel this as well.

The previously owned US Purosangues being re-sold at dealers are fetching around $85-$100K over MSRP (despite being listed for as much as $150K over MSRP). The original owners are not making any profit when they trade the car in. They are simply recouping the vast majority of their original purchase price. Even if the car was sold at a dealer on consignment the original owner will not profit after paying out the 20% commission on a car that sells at $100K over MSRP.

As someone fortunate to receive an early allocation, and who has driven the car regularly since last July, I love it! It is fast, sounds great at high revs, and handles brilliantly (for a SUV). Yes, we are all very likely to experience a depreciation hit. No one knows exactly how much that will be over the next 24-months. However, if someone actually bought the car because they liked its positioning in the market I believe they will not be disappointed (except for the haptics which are a pain in the as_). I've driven the Cayenne and Urus many times and the Purosangue is so much better in the "twisties."

I have an Urus Performante now, it's my 3rd Urus. I love the car although it could probably use a bit more power. Plenty of room, handles great, looks aggressive and the entertainment system is 100x better than the Purosangue. I've driven the Purosangue 1 time and for a short distance so I can't give a fair comparison but it was nice, I'll have a hard time justifying $200k nicer though.

There is no arguing (successfully) about the price differential. $200K is A LOT of cheddar. I will say that the Lambos are very common in the cities I frequent (and for good reasons). Yet, I have not seen another Puro on the road in any of them. If Ferrari sticks to its intent to keep production at no more than 20% of their total output seeing a Purosangue will be a far more uncommon occasion than a Urus sighting. If "exclusivity" is something of interest to Puro buyers (and it most likely is given its price point) then it should end up leagues ahead of the rivals in its overall retained value (in part because of the high starting point and because of the production numbers). The Urus is a wonderful performance SUV. Personally, I believe the Puro will end up having more "cache" than the Urus due to its significantly lower production volume and trick suspension setup.

I have a Ferrari, McLaren, Aston, Bentel, RR and Lamborghini dealership within 5 miles of my house and I rarely see any of them. They are all exclusive.

I have been enjoying my Purosangue for a couple months and haven’t seen an other one except at the Ferrari showroom. Love this Ferrari, it’s great! The wait will be worth it.

Some day when our allocation comes up, I plan to spec this to be fairly discrete - no shields no wow colors. It could become my DD for sure and if people think it is a Mazda, then that’s even better. Because it will be a fantastic driver!
