New French place opened in town. Had perfect meal there last night w 77 cocktail, oysters, duck, then chocolate mousse. Expensive at $100pp but worth it. In Central PA where I grew up Pork and Sauerkraut is a New Year's Day tradition that I have faithfully observed. This year I couldn't face it after our giant NY Eve dinner (and copious amounts of table wine and Champagne) so I am making the pork tonight. Mashed taters, silver floss kraut and corn of course.
