The key here is your height and body type- I’m 6’2” and the GTS was much less comfortable on longer drives than the SF with a tad less leg room and much less reclining. Otherwise they are both as close to perfect as these cars can get.
As for the original post on the MB BS vs the 812 the BS is faster on the track but it’s major drawback on the street is it is much more stiff suspension wise and loses its cool on rough surfaces and it also feels much more claustrophobic than the 812 with its very low seating and high door sills.
For street driving the SF is “THE BOMB”!

Fact! I picked-up a GTC roadster for daily. Liked it so much I got rid of my 488.

Im in a 2018 GT-C with gobs of PTG power and it is truly amazing. The V12 bug has bitten though has me searching daily for the right F12 or 812 SF. I haven’t even driven in one yet but still am wanting badly!

I enjoyed my AMG GTC as a DD(even drove in snow a few times with it- hair raising!) but the 812SF and GTS are too special for that- they are special event cars IMHO.

I own an 812 GTS and a 2012 SLS AMG Roadster in similar color combinations. I love both & drive the SLS more than the GTS. Having owned the SLS for 7-8 years, I chose the 812 GTS over the SLS BS. I found the GTS to be faster and far more comfortable than the BS. I will keep both long term. The SLS offers 90% of the GTS driving experience for pennies on the dollar!

Update: That GTC Roadster became a GTR Roadster a few months ago. :)

Update: Found “it”. Not an 812 but the F12 and GT-C seem to be getting along nicely.
