Anybody order the personalized Dash plaque to replace the F430 plaque on the dash? This is mentioned in the Manual, again the dealer is unaware.

I didn't order it. My dealer was aware of this option.

    Hello,

My F430 has the factory 'Silver Dedication Plate' (I just took a picture and it is attached).
The original owner of this car ordered this option but chose not to engrave it (thankfully for me as it looks great as is and I would never engrave it).
I do not know if the factory offered engraving or if this was left to the purchaser upon receiving the car.
I am curious if Ferrari still offers these and at what cost?
    If someone knows please post.

    Regards,

    Les

My car has a blank version too. In the UK, when you traded/sold your car back to Ferrari, they did allow you (first owner) to keep the original engraved plaque should you want and replace it with a blank one.

    Les,

From what I understand the factory did it and stopped doing it a few years after production of the 430. My car has the carbon F430 version and I always liked that option so we started to offer it. The blank version you have is a pretty cool version. I have never seen one of those before.

That's very cool, keep those "replacement" NLA items coming for our cars. You make me feel I can keep my car looking great forever despite Ferrari's discontinuing parts.

Truth be told, I have had my 430 since 2011 and have almost 72,000 miles on it. So I completely understand the parts issue. What year is yours?

Mine is a 06 and has been a GREAT car!! ( I owe a lot of that to the Dealership. They always let me know about things before they ever become an issue) Hopefully, you have a good relationship with your dealership or tech.

I am all about preventive repairs (not just for cars). Sometimes it's hard to explain to my wife why I'm fixing something around the house instead of waiting for it to "break"
