    Not selfish at all……

Not the same size as you, but I find the Lamborghini coupes sit lower to the ground than the Ferraris do.

The driver’s position in the STO is perhaps the most comfortable of all the exotics I currently own. Somehow counterintuitive…..

If you ever decide to pull the trigger on a track car, you’ll have to sit in it a while to see if the whole fitting experience is for you.

The Cup has lots of ceiling height, but is a bit tight to climb out of……more reason to stay flexible!

I’m sure you’ll be fine, though.

    Great thread....

I would say, as someone who has been waiting...and waiting...and waiting.... for my car to go into production, the depreciation on the used cars becomes a factor. Only in that it becomes a decision of whether I really want exactly my spec or would settle for something close and potentially save around $50 grand. In the world of these cars, $50k isn't much, but it would buy me that Vacheron I've been eyeing at my favorite watch dealer. Of course, there's also the "I want to be first one to fart in my $500,000 car" factor, which can't be underestimated. I mean if anyone is going to ruin that fine Italian leather smell, I want it to be me.

As for the Huracan, I am only 6 feet but a broad shouldered 240 lbs. I'm not fat, but I sure ain't skinny. I never could get comfortable in a Huracan no matter how hard I tried. Not so in my 720 or in the 296 that hopefully arrives soon, but after I shed some of this holiday weight. LOL.

I received my GTB in September 24 and then my GTS in November 24. My intention was to sell the GTB after 6 months. Problem is I did an atelier build on both and they are very different in color. Driving the GTS with the top down is sublime but the better exhaust note in the GTB makes me want to keep both. Likely if an offer to buy the VS comes about I will likely sell the GTB.

No, I had possession for about 5 weeks.

The resolution process ended about 6 weeks ago and I’m still dizzy at how it totally overturned 25+ years of fandom. That said, I feel like a spell was broken and I can step back with more neutrality. I also suspect the shakeout has back burnered my GTS, I did Atelier over 11 months ago and I just keep sliding further down the list without actually starting production.

GTB was 32. I ordered the GTS on the morning after the reveal, April 2022. So I'm at 31 months already with no VIN or Stage 10 yet.

Jon and I had that exact conversation several months ago - ended up rolling the GTB money into a Diablo, couldn't resist it - but I've still got one eye on McLarens including 765LTs. Upside is that I can keep the Diablo and the GTS, but at 400+ I'd be trading out 765 for the GTS, couldn't have both and feel peace of mind.

GTS will be a better everyday super car, the 765 IMO is much more special and more of an event.

Wow I ordered mine July ‘23, 10R late June 24 and I am about two weeks away and I have a very long ‘water time’ . Do you think your order has been influenced by your previous issues?

The Corso Pilota events for Europe mention the 12C, anyone know if they will be using the 12C at any of the 2025 Corso Pilota events in the US?

Hmmm…good question. Because I don’t fit in the 296 even without a helmet, I never explored the details for 2025.

I went the other way. SF90 swap for my 296 and Sterrato because I want to snag some other things on the market now.

yes. I was already up to 3rd on the GTS list as of a year ago. Now, who knows. I just don’t like the feeling of having an impending obligation.

I got my first photo in primer on 23/9 second pic 16/10 , the car is due into port 3/2 . I do not have the final pic and that is causing me to chuckle as I know the vessel the car is on etc .

If you start a pvt conversation with me I will give you the complete run down

Thank you for the detailed reply, it looks like 4 months + from the first photo but it's not exact science. Thank you for your help, I won't take any more of your time, I will just patiently wait :)
