It's enuff to almost make you think about going for this Aussie non matching ,colourchange 930:...
I think you'd be alone with that notion. A new low water mark in absolute junk that you usually post.
And I aim to keep disappointing those whom open my links...Thanx Speedy! Applied paper mache to the damaged section of leather in the 996 yet? I don't have that level of expertise yet,I was going to go to Bunnings and find an aerosol can of slightly different colour grey and fill the hole with about 25 applications.
It was a nice car but the engine was tired and due for a refresh. The guy I sold it to, had the engine rebuilt. Rebuilding an aircooled 911 engine is a $35k++ job, not that you’d ever pay that much $180k seems right for a high mileage entry level C3.2. Lucky I have the more desirable version now Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes. Definately for the purists. Except it's not fitted with the original engine, transmission and interior. And I wonder what colour it was originally? Must be a QLD thing.
It's just another modified 911. In a downturn, these cars are the first to be unloaded. However educated buyers don't want them. Have a look at the other 9 x 911 S listed. A few have enjoyed a birthday on carsales.com.au. Excellent condition, no stories unmodified cars are selling. This listing is not one of them.
There is this thing which I gave a small amount of consideration ...until I woke up,at least it's matching numbers manual: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1986-porsche-911-carrera-manual/SSE-AD-17950734/ How did you go with the 350z??
Here you go Adrian, now he REALLY want's to sell it: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1977-porsche-911-s-manual/SSE-AD-14590079/
I’m a little confused, when he says “no rust in the body” and “just surface rust” (that may need an angle grinder to remove), means there are two different types of rust ?
Yes mate, the one where you have to remove every piece of trim, rubber, glass, steel paneling, interior, all mechanicals and suspension and steering. ............and then the one you put a small sliver of colourcoded tape over the affected piece.
