I don't have that level of expertise yet,I was going to go to Bunnings and find an aerosol can of slightly different colour grey and fill the hole with about 25 applications.

 

Engine rebuild 15K ago. Looks like a nice thing (if the price was right, of course).

It was a nice car but the engine was tired and due for a refresh. The guy I sold it to, had the engine rebuilt. Rebuilding an aircooled 911 engine is a $35k++ job, not that you’d ever pay that much

It's just another modified 911. In a downturn, these cars are the first to be unloaded. However educated buyers don't want them. Have a look at the other 9 x 911 S listed. A few have enjoyed a birthday on carsales.com.au.

Excellent condition, no stories unmodified cars are selling. This listing is not one of them.

I’m a little confused, when he says “no rust in the body” and “just surface rust” (that may need an angle grinder to remove), means there are two different types of rust ?

 

Yes mate,the one where you have to remove every piece of trim,rubber,glass,steel paneling,interior,all mechanicals and suspension and steering.
............and then the one you put a small sliver of colourcoded tape over the affected piece.

 

On second thoughts, I think I won't buy your car...
