On the subject of Peugeot road cars as team service vehicles: when I interviewed Forghieri in 2007 -a fabulous experience- he said he was flying around so much for his duties that he sometimes did not know what country he was waking up in!...and there was very little budget before the 1969 Fiat majority share sale hence he and mechanics were sleeping in cars at the circuits...so he said; "If I woke up in a Chevrolet station wagon I knew I was in Watkins Glen or Sebring and it it was a Peugeot station wagon I knew I was at Reims, Villars Ollon or the Nurgburgring!"

There are good reasons to not drive a Ferrari everywhere (actually Hamilton arrived in an Alfa Romeo) and before the Fiat take over, a Peugeot was as a good option as anything else. Even then, one time the Old Man got an honorary degree or something like that he made his driver park a few blocks away from the place to not be seen arriving in a non-Italian car.

And a report by respected Italian publication Auto Racer has claimed that Hamilton, 40, could relocate to live closer to Ferrari’s headquarters in F1 2025. It is said that the seven-time World Champion ‘will move near to Maranello in order to be close’ to Ferrari during ‘the most intense work phases’ of the season.
