Wonderful thread! I read this thread in 2021 (pre car price spike) when I was deciding to buy my first Ferrari... I was in the market for a 488
but then drove a 599 and was hooked on the V12. A few weeks later, I drove an F12 and was ruined forever! I ended up buying a CPO 2015 Rosso/Cuoio with 5k miles and a $440 MSRP for just under $256k (good times). Then on a sad rainy day I totaled it and tried for a year to buy a similar build but could not find one. Purchased a beautiful CPO 812 (amazing spec) and with all honesty, I could not love it like I loved the F12. Ended up trading the 812 back for another CPO F12 and I'm in love again... but, the first love is always a special one that cannot be replicated! The F12 is truly a special car. I did have a 12Cilindri on order but cancelled it and now I'm hunting for an 812GTS when the market gets closer to leveling out (hopefully in the low $400s)

Wow, the red totaled …….looks fixable vs salvaged if that was the outcome. 812 color and spec amazing was the color Bianco Italia? (If so I love mine will never sell it) Well that’s the plan I said that about my 458 which I regret)

Trust me, I tried to get it repaired and the lowest estimate was $240k! It had a ton of carbon fiber under the hood. The 812 was Biano Fuji (pearl) with full PPF.

As a new F12 owner, I have looked through the forums like crazy looking for different rims than I already have on this vehicle. HRE, Vossen, etc. my friend has a spare set of unused 812 wheels with titanium lugs, caps, and tires from 2019 he can sell to me for $5k. What do you all think is the best route? I like the idea of doing OEM+.

Good price, nice colour and they’ll fit the F12.
Budget for new tyres as the ones on there are life expired. Get Michelin MPS4S or Conti Contact Sport 7

Personally I find those rims overly stylized for the 812.

Agreed. That is why I was thinking of HRE P101s or TDF rims

Not a huge fan of these wheels. I think the best OEM option on the F12 are the forged wheels (usually two-tone). If you want to go OEM+, maybe the TdF wheels or something from HRE that is close to one of those two designs.

Agreed that TdF wheels look great on the F12. The 812 twist wheels can work on the F12 too but they’re very colour dependent.

I’ve purchased custom forged wheels from Signature Wheel for all my cars over a six year period with excellent results each time. And the best part is that they are reasonably priced at under $6k for 20/21 any offset and with headlock and drilled to fit OEM caps. It’s the best value I have found and they have a few designs that are very factory lookjng, especially with OEM caps.
