    Hi All,

    I am looking to bid on a 2018 488 Spider that is up for auction.

    The car has 37k miles and a full service history.

    It says the left wing and bonnet are believed to have been repainted, but no major accidents.

    The car seems to be a very good deal.

    Any advice?
    Anything I should be checking for?

    At what I think this could be had for, I could get this and a 812sf for the same price as a gts.

    Early models tend to leak between engine and gearbox but should not be an issue if its a 2018.

    Can you inspect the car ni person or is it just pictures / other peoples eyes looking for you?

    I have lots of photos, but I have requested sending it in for an inspection at Ferrari. The auction ends Sunday so I doubt I have time for that.

    Forget having Ferrari do it, find a shop local to it and have them go out there.

    Agree. Have it fully checked. All cars look great in an auction, and solid buys.

    The car had a front end crash.

    I found a blu corsa 2016 spider with quite a nice spec and 6k miles for a decent price.

    Ive never seen blu corsa in the flesh.

    Great color. Looks awesome daytime or nighttime in the 488.
