You're kidding I hope... if it were only the VIPs who buy the cars, Ferrari would sell 10,000 fewer per year... if you have doubts, it's very simple, you subtract the number of VIPs from the total annual production.
First pix of the VS in February Full reveal at Le Mans in June First allocation to customers participating in track events (whatever that means)
It makes zero sense that the company itself would show ‘pix’ in February but the actual reveal isn’t until June. What does that even means and also yeah Ferrari would never do this. If they show official pictures … that IS the reveal. What are they going to do … show official pictures in February and then issue an official press release 4 months later?! lol. What you’re saying is absurd on its face.
Will see I guess. Nice reaction from you. Did you have a bad night of sleep? I am amongst the lucky (or not?) ones that have been told that I should get to place an order next month after teaser pix. That is all I wanted to add to this discussion by saying first pix in February. If it turns out my dealer misspoke it is what it is. Just wanted to share potential "news". No need to get upset...
The sequence usually goes A. Private dealer previews B. Private VIP and likely allocation previews C. Public press release with images of the final production version So maybe it’s some combination of those events he was referencing. Have a blessed day.
I don't think it's unusual for a company to release "teaser" pics well before final release. Maybe that will be the case
Teaser pix show maybe an outline or body contour line or one element. And do we really need that for a 296 derivative? Those types of teasers are usually used for completely brand new models.
I hope so! Its one element that certainly has the potential to set the car off - similarly was the case with SF90XX. ps Im replying you as i believe the fixed rear wing will enhance the design, plus its rather hilarious knowing you cant help yourself from switching that ignore button on and off every time i post. Im surprised that button hasn’t worn out by now .
Hmmmmm … doesn’t seem to be going in the large fixed rear wing direction. Instead seems to be going in pop-up tail spoiler from the LaFerrari direction.
He must be referring to the Lamborghini Aventador SV, the other two cars Sian and SCV12 must have lower roofs and he might have difficulties getting in, having said I have few friends which are big boys 6.2 + and they all fit in my SCV12 with the helmets on no issues whatsoever so Cocoloco must be massive, warning to those are beefing with him if that's the case LOL Furthermore the SCV12 is such an insane crazy car I would lose body parts if I had troubles getting in, lucky that car just like most other Italian sports cars are built to people my size
When you agree to buy a new leftover GTC Lusso with $200k in options, at sticker, that no one wants. Just kidding.
Just spoke to someone in the know, executives are in Maranello next week to view the finished car, it will be revealed in April to the public.
heard this as well from our dealer....and he is going to confirm what the requirements are. What I know: 1) you are given preference if you were the original owner of your 296 and have kept your 296. Not the same as buying second hand. 2) A 296GTB in your garage could allow you to order a 296 GTB, same with the GTS. In other words, if you have a GTB now if you are offered a VS it will be a 296GTB VS. 3) A 296VS is a lower level sort-a special car so the dealer decides who gets orders. Larger dealers with long lists will have 'requirements' to get a VS....current orders, other Ferraris in your garage, past ownership, past ownership of other VS cars....
This matches what I was told. Basically, the rules can move around (other than number 1) but the dealer ultimately is going to decide who gets one.

Even if I qualify at the moment I'm not sure I will order one. Seriously thinking of getting a 992 GT3 RS instead.
