Sorry, Steve, that last picture you posted had to be buried. Let's start a new thread...
Wait for it,he's held in pretty high regard by the silly Poms,he'll be Lord Whatsisname before too long.
Ferrari won't care either way, they made the company worth WAY more with this sporting stupid idea but smart financial move
From what little I know about psychology, the autocratic Ferrari team that expects results immediately from they don't care whom, coupled with the somewhat elevated opinion of himself Sir Lewis seems an odd mix. I just can't see it working. Unless of course he wins races from the get go. In the Ferrari marketing machine, it surely must be a bizarre choice too, thinking of the U.A.E. and Mainland China as emerging markets. Unless Ferrari wish to sell more merchandise. Surely Lewis will flounder in a sub par car or at the very least, trail his team mate. Perhaps that doesn't even matter. I really don't know. It's a gutsy move for the team and the driver in the twilight of his career. Through grated teeth I wish Ferrari a win, or two, for 2025.
Chatting to a chap earlier tonight whom said that Ferrari merch and all the other bollocks has gone crazy since Sir Lewis arrived. His theory is that they’ll rake in the money for a year or two then concentrate more on actually winning once he’s retired.
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/ferrari-market-cap-surges-7-billion-amid-hamilton-f1-bombshell/10571444/ this was all it was about AND the merchandise hit that would come Ferrari DGAF what we think
There are some photo's of those day's at rallies I have, that should never see the light of day ever again!
