    The age of the airplane has less to do with it than the sketchy Mexican operator, who crashed a 35 in November 2023 and killed everyone also.

    I would bet on attitude indicator failure followed by spatial disorientation... all happening so low to the ground that there was no time to figure it out.

    A previous post suggested pilot flying was "experienced" with 1000 hours......fairly low time overall or even in type......also distances flown/time: possibly exhaustion? No actual info on those kinds of details yet of course....
