I guess its easier to make threats to you then just run a solid business and let the reputation do its job. They could probably still do well if all future business was done properly and politely asked the new customers to write reviews and word of mouth would do its job. The car business is a pretty small community in the grand scheme.

It’s a shame, been looking at Aventador SVJ’s and they have two which after reading here I’m removing from my list of possibles.

 

Oh boy. Yelp, google (reviews), OpenTable, etc. all better be on the look out. Guess all those negative reviewers for any restaurant better be able to back up their review with factual evidence and not mislead potential customers.

I think the best resolution would be to delete the entire thread, fire all staff at FChat, voluntarily surrender to the Federal authorities, and pay treble damages.

 

Whenever I see a Carrio advertised car, I mentally skip over the car and treat it as a filler or page break. They have wasted my time twice. Half their inventory is full of undisclosed stories.

 

I was pursuing a Phantom they had for sale--thankfully didn't get very far as it was grossly misrepresented...

Carrio bids for pretty much every single exotic car in auctions, no matter the background or condition. They buy the cars no-one else wants.
I don't think they take many trades, as their trade offers are completely insulting. And the guys who work there have no clue about what kind of cars they are dealing with. For example, in my case they were selling a Copart-sourced wrecked Aston as "clean history", and didn't know a California and California T are different models. And when I pointed that out, they were completely obnoxious and arrogant about it.
How those clowns stay in business is mind blowing. Just read their BBB reviews as well for some comedy gold.

Imagine running a business and being ok with your Google reviews, Reddit, FChat and BBB quite literally ad nauseam of the same scenarios over and over and over and being just continuing on in life...

I'd stroke out if I had ONE client ever complain or be unsatisfied to a 1% degree of what these jabronis are doing "in business".

Just the daily drama of screwing someone over, my god, sure it's cliche as hell, but how do these people sleep at night? Yet these buyers keep banging their heads against the walls doing the same thing, over and over and over...are they doing NO research? It should take one review to read in depth to tell you everything you should know about how these "dealers" operate, and then stay as many states away as possible from this dumpster fire of an operation.

 

Years ago I took a test drive at a newly opened exotic used car dealer in Southern California. The sales person who went with me seemed higher than a kite, really wired up. The staff seemed to have no interest in encouraging a sale with me. An acquaintance of mine ran an auto upholstery business across the street, so I asked him what he had observed. His assessment was the exotic used car dealer was running a drug money laundering operation. The dealer was closed in a few months.

 

Just buy from private sellers. Way better
