Pity, I would have enjoyed him trying…:p
So will Bearman replace Charles or Lewis in 2026? Unless Charles has a fantastic 2025, he'll be out. But if Bearman doesn't perform in 2025 at Haas, then it is more likely that Carlos will return and replace Charles (ouch). If Lewis is gifted his 8th WDC in 2025 because no one is seriously looking at the 2025 cars, I don't think Lewis will stick around for 2026...he'll have nothing left to gain. That could leave Ferrari with two empty seats...one for Carlos, and one for Charles (if he'll take a big pay cut)...or for someone young to replace Charles.

He could be slow or fast; you can't possibly tell anything from those times. It's literally a tire test; drivers had different fuel loads, drove on different time of day, with different tires. Top it all of in a mule car of SF24 that had around 20% reduced downforce and weird set up. And probably none of the drivers were "pushing". Norris with 2023 season McLaren being 7 tenths ahead of 2024 Ferrari should tell you everything. You have to wait till Australia to see the picture, but the click hungry media posts even tire test times now (didn't hear much last year about times on these tests).

First electric Ferrari to be revealed on 9 October Ferrari's CEO said the firm will unwrap its future at its Capital Markets Day, hinting at debut for EV First electric Ferrari to be revealed on 9 October | Autocar

Ferrari employees celebrate record year with windfall bonus! Ferrari enjoyed a strong campaign in F1 last year, but the company also demonstrated its prowess once again in the luxury automotive industry, surpassing all expectations with its 2024 financial performance. The company reported net revenues of €6.67 billion, marking an 11.8% increase from the previous year. Net profit also saw a significant rise, reaching €1.53 billion – a 21% uptick compared to 2023. Furthermore, the House of Maranello also recorded €600 million in ‘sponsorship, commercial and brand’ which includes the revenue from the Scuderia, an 18% boost compared to 2023. In recognition of these stellar results, Ferrari has rewarded each of its 5,000 employees with a bonus of €14,400, an increase from the €13,500 distributed in 2023!
I wonder if all the Lewis licker Social Media accounts that posted Hamilton being faster than Leclerc in day 1 will now post that Hamilton was 2 seconds slow. People with some sense will realize it's a test where the times are meaningless.
Just an fyi but Ford lost 5 Billion USD just on EV's for 2024. I believe Mercedes Benz made a loss as well in ev's for 2024. Hint: no one is buying them.
But soon people will have no choice here in Europe ! ICE sales will be banned from 2030 in several country and totally in the EU from 2035. Once the charging infrastructure will be completed, and EVs made affordable, they will sell. Hint; already 93% of cars sold in Norway are electric. Mercedes made the mistake of launching expensive top of the range electric cars, and neglecting the market which is small and mid size affordable cars: BYD and MG are doing alright. The Chinese are showing us the way to switch to EVs, but Western manufacturers drag their feet.
This is the scenario imagined by Van der Layen and co.. Reality will be dramatically different. EV alone is a ecological failure. And a drama for all the European automotive industry.
I don't care how many Ferrari badges are glued to the EV Ferrari. It will NOT be a Ferrari. It'll be nothing more than a pointless appliance.
Bingo. It may work in places like The Netherlands, Germany (though they're out of money), Scandies etc but France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and anything central and eastern Europe, the people can not afford it and it categorically will not happen in the proposed timeframe.
Any car by definition for personal use ascyou note above. They built an SUV and the world turns lol. It will be a Ferrari vehicle. Im soooo happy Im not infected with narrow purist syndrome before we see it for sale. Im curious about its looks and personality/ performance etc. How will Ferrari create this vehicle and what will be the result.
I've seen how it looks(Ferrari EV) thru spy photos and testing on public roads. It looks hideous and it's atrocious being a Ferrari EV. It's like a Patek Philippe going solar powered.....stupid really.
