Again their marketing won’t be enough powerful to travesty reality.
This is not about being purist but a Ferrari is first and foremost an engine.
This is all about emotions and noblesse ( masterpiece).
Something an electric motor would never provide in the end.

It can have the most beautiful looks on the planet and the most ridiculous performance. I'm not interested. It won't have an engine, therefore it'll be soulless. Nothing to do with Ferrari purism, I view every single EV the same, or anything with a cookie cutter engine. If it doesn't have a good sound, or a particular vibration or whatever, I just don't gel with it. The Taycan is just an appliance as well. I don't care if it has a Porsche badge or Skoda, it's utterly irrelevant to me and devoid of any emotion.

Yes the world keeps on turning, my life is not affected by Ferrari SUV's and EVs. It's not that deep.

    Everything is said.
Don’t get why it is so difficult for some to understand this point of view ?

To be fair the Purosangue is a flop. They are having trouble selling them and are pushing them onto collectors as a means for them to get an allocation of one of the more desired models.

Even Porsche is walking back their EV plans after the terrible sales.

I’d wager Ferraris EV will be a failure. At best people will buy it just to stay on “the list” for something better.

I see all that. SUV difficult model to integrate and the E Ferrari possibly as well. We will see the results and the company will continue to do well. Its a Ferrari product. The success is s different matter .

I cant see how anyone would want to own one for anything other than a silly statement. If you want one fine. Its just not anything car folks would care for. I have a golf cart.

It will get back on track in a few weeks. :D

That's why I usually stay away from F1 threads if there is nothing actually going on; idle arguing in circles;).

Incredible small world moment, was just at a great historical Paris restaurant, Laperouse, several kilometres from where the Retromobile show takes place this week.

Who was at the table next to us? Giacomo Mattioli of Ferrari of Beverly Hills!

I told him John Barnes, publisher of Cavallino magazine, and I visited his office in 1998:eek::D. He said he was at the Cavallino classic days ago in Palm Beach. How is that for a coincidence...

Giacomo is a great guy, got to spend time before he sold SVF. Still miss his ownership. Though Indigo is doing as best any big corporation can I guess.

    Pinch of salt obviously :
Charles best lap would have been 56,06 very close to the track record set by Michael and the F2004 (55,99)
    Wait and see

    Should rename it the HP-25!

Next year's Ferrari will be white and blue with a red pinstripe.

I do really like the new "retro" darker red though.

If they did the white in yellow that would look good.
