    I'm using them, obviously.

The simpler and cheaper solution is to rebuild your existing TB's using donor parts from those same inexpensive Porsche units. I have the instructions on how to do it on that same site. It's a bit fidgety, and has some high risk if you're not careful. I've designed a protective cover for the tiny and easily destroyed pickup fingers for the pots that if used, makes the job a lot less prone to catastrophic and instantaneous destruction of the unobtainium OEM units.

I know of a lot of people who have successfully rebuilt their TB's. It's very DIY.

The ear clamps (92 mm) are another unobtainable part so be careful to remove them so you can put them back. The fit doesn't have to be bone breaking tight as there's very little pressure involved, but they do have to be tight enough to prevent air leaks. Ruin those clamps and you're left with screw on hose clamps which look tragic.

    Good luck!

So you don't even have the adapters? What do you do to solve the problem of the excessive oil needing to go to the TBs and into the intake?

I have the larger CS MAFs and CS software on my car, so I have been able to use 430 bellows on which there is an oil vapor pickup.

Very interesting and what a simple solution. A bolt on TB for $150 instead of $2,000. That's amazing!

I have actually been thinking about installing a catch can on my car as well and just getting rid of those entirely. I have them on several other cars of mine and drain them during oil changes. Seems better for the car overall.

One minor issue with a catch can without a vent back into the engine is what you'll vent to the world. They might have a cow over it in California, the rest of the world probably wouldn't care.

Nah. I have a catch can on my TJ. Nobody gives it a second look. Could be because of all the other hoses and cans under the hood I guess. My guess is because I bought a black one and not some anodized blue or red unit with cheesy colored hoses going to it that scream aftermarket.

Cars like the 360/F430 are not run of the mill so typical smog places don't really know what the engine bay is suppose to look like.

Have other installed a catch can on the 360? It seems very easy on this model car and will only help the TBs and engine, and you can also just use cheap $150 and new throttle bodies.

Been thinking about a catch can for mine as well. I've had them on my other vehicles and I can definitely see a benefit on the F430. Interested in knowing which hoses I would need to tap into.

I would love to as well, but I can't find anyone who has done it.

Nice, thank you. Those must be the Porsche units, based on the “997” prefix?
