Replacement door switches are available and not really expensive (by Ferrari standards): https://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/part/ferrari/60054509-a £37.80 (@$46.89)

The original switch [Part No. 60054509 - No longer available] was a more "in keeping with Ferrari" price of £180.64 (@$224)

Ha I'm very happy then that I've now got three fixed and working original switches that cost $5 each!

I needed these a while back for my 308 GT4, which uses slightly different switches. You can find them for $5 each… if they're in packaging that reads "Fiat" on it. If you want the packaging to read "Ferrari" then you need to pay $180 each.

What size is the hole the switch fits in to? My nasty aftermarket switch has failed. It appears to cover the hole so maybe I can return it to original.

So long as people aren't under the misconception that the switches are no longer available ;)
