    Small, black Phillips round head sheet metal screw. At least that is what I recall is used on my '76 vetro GTB. Don't believe it is a machine screw, but I may be wrong. Should be easy to source.

    You don't have it on your car! It is the "retractor" for the cable connected to the hood prop on the early cars!
