I knew it world be a rip off based on the thread title but WOW that is like 5x the already stupid price I was guessing. How is this not a massive insult to the intelligence of their customers?

Man I spent like $45.00 for an F1 Ferrari hat and thought I was getting hosed. Does anyone actually buy this stuff or is it just for sale to make the brand more glamorous? Like all the shops in Vegas or something

Clearly targeted toward the type that own vintage racers with significant histories.

I buy mine on closeout. Sainz labeled stuff is *cheap* :)

My wife is a huge fan od designer goods and my exposure to her shopping has gotten me used to seeing hats at this price range.
If you think this is bad then look at hats by Channel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. It will make your eyes water.
She has been trying to get me to own a Hermes cap, but they are about $700 (and they have no real logo on it).
She has purchased a few other caps for me by Moncler and Lacoste. These have been in the $300- $350 range (which I struggled with).
I do think this is her way of moving me to the more expensive ones without me complaining.

WTF, no cavallino rampante in silver or gold on the side? I can get a counterfeit one of those for $15.

I heard you have to buy all the other hats before you are allowed to buy this hat.

    Correct.

But once you “get” the primo hat, it’s technically on lease for the first two years…:D:D

How many cheaper hats did you have to buy before you get the chance of buying one of these hats?

Not sure, but I recently went with another manufacturer and got the hat AND the driving shoes for less…

And from the same country nonetheless!

What is up with these bizarre attempts at quotes?

In any event, cool. Do you.

Also recently got this one brand new (officially licensed) for less than $45 shipped. Who knew such bargains existed?

“Your” grammar and inability to type on one line makes you look (insert word here).

After 41 years of marriage, her spending habits are the least of my worries.
My wife has been there through thick and thin and is the foundation to our success.
I honestly feel like the luckiest guy in the world.

I tell all my friends that there are 3 types of women in the world.
Those with good taste, those with bad taste and those with no taste.
I would rather have a wife with good taste (even though it might be expensive) than the other two.

    Just my thoughts,

This is an insult to their intelligence indeed. This hate probably costs $10 to make.
I have grown so tired of the prices these brands charge. For 0 value or quality over the regular brand.
I can understand some margin. But 50x is just insulting. I'd be embarrassed wearing this at that price.

Wow, I couldn't have said it better.

But here is an example of how much profit there is in hats, shirts, sweatshirts, etc. The NFL site is selling Super Bowl Eagles wearables for $40 to $80. Well guess what, they also made the same amount of Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl wearables that they can't sell. So what happened to that? It was all donated to Ukraine, Latvia, Mongolia, Estonia and Georgia.

I have to laugh, some kids in Mongolia are saying, "who the f*** are the Chefs?" :D:D:D (reference the Snickers commercial)
