    6061 billet aluminum
    2 piece clamshell design
    Massive throttle body opening.
    Tuned Siamese trumpets

    This tops off a 89mm bore build with lots of custom goodies.

    The intake is a first of it's kind and honestly will be a total 1 off. The machine shop will not make another with the same emblem detail. We need to simplify and change the fiber details if there's ever to be more made for those that want such a thing.
    This was a special project for a show car so they agreed to pull out the stops for capability.

    Building performance isn't easy. All the parts must work together for lots of miles as a street engine. Many compromises for performance vs. Longevity. You got a lot of stuff going on there and a bunch of stuff not in those pics. It's a big project.

    It's what we do...
    These engine builds have lots of yrs of development behind them.

    And yes there's a bunch of things you don't see with this build. Very little is still OEM Ferrari.

    I liked the post like five minutes after it was up. You and Nick have been at the forefront of 308 development. It would be cool if you could do some videos showing how much performance you can get out of these motors and some of the R&D and testing you do. I am sure there are proprietary / secrets you don't want to give away but theory would be good to understand.

    This is very expensive to develop, hence it likely comes with a large price tag. Food for thought, a local outfit to me makes a custom 348 CNC intake at just a hair under $30k.
