No, I mean like all the Max crash videos you skipped through to find that one.

I never claimed Max didn’t crash into anyone. Your messiah is just as guilty as anyone else. ;)

Just keeping you honest! :D What a fun year this is going to be.

I love how that "gotcha!" vid ends up resorting to re-using multiple clips more than once to fill up 40 seconds...this from a driver with +350 race starts :D
Hamilton haters are not very industrious

All drivers crash, make mistakes and are imperfect. I guess 'fans' want robots next. Its a useless subject and over exposed here needlessly.

Regarding "that gotcha vid" that was posted, there is another compilation of Hamiltons incidents that's over 7 minutes long.....if you would like me to post.

Max and Hamilton are both guilty of causing incidents.....just like mostly everyone else. It's the degree of those incidents that one causes is the factor. Lewis is the so called "gentleman" in the sport and Max is in the "win at all costs" nomenclature of F1 drivers. Both Max and Lewis have records in F1. One wants to win and be in the good graces of the public while the other wants to win and doesn't really give a damn what they say about how he wins as he really could care less....in the end, it's all about winning and being put in the history books. There's only a handful of multiple WDC title holders since the 70's till current....good or bad.

i hope this very very very early assessment is correct. How many more 'next year' do we need. Id rather no one talk until after the first race and its a victory!

Hamilton in no doubt Ferrari switch was the right move
After his first run in the 2025 Ferrari, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion is convinced cutting ties with Mercedes and joining the Italian team was the correct decision

Is it “hating” to point out the hypocrisy?

Only brainwashed zealots think this type of behavior is exclusive to one driver. Lewis is just as guilty as the rest. Fair arguments could be made either way.

But hey, F1 is now about feeding the drama machine and every drama requires a hero and a villain. Lewis has clearly been anointed the savior and Max the devil. Charles the handsome, demure apostle Peter gets relegated to supporting role. :D

Hopefully once the flag drops we get someone to upset the DTS Apple cart and ruin all their ******** narrative. ;) I’m hoping either Charles goes to the dark side and eviscerates Lewis or Max, Lando or Oscar reign in terror obliterating the field.

I am thinking that this has forced Charles to grow a pair. He finally started to race much smarter in the last half of last year. The final race of the season was amazing.

Media/people were quick to post Leclerc's times with SF-25. But not anything about Hamilton's, I wonder why?
Results didn't go with the Brit narrative?

I always appreciate honesty, so I applaud Lewis for that.

Though I would want a 7x champion to be a little more aggressive (or delusional) in his self belief. He isn't exactly making excuses, but he's setting up a narrative that Charles is a superb talent that could very well beat him. Of course this is something we all know (again I applaud recognizing that truth) but you'd think someone who has won over 100 races and poles wouldn't be worried about anyone.

He’s just playing the politician. Lewis is very adept at working the media and saying the “right” things when he is supposed to.

We’ll have to wait until we are a handful races in to see what the reality is.

So, I'm the new guy here. Many of you have seen the Ferrari mess for years on end. I'm just trying to think this through and being hopeful. So Chuck went out and almost blew MS time at Fiorano. Seems to be a few ways to look at this. They always say it doesn't matter because its just filming. Well this year Chuck turned it up. I bet he had more left. Was this year to show LH who was the man? Was this year because the car was GOOD? Was it an accident? It it was, then the car IS good. It could mean ****... but maybe not! The turn in on a few of the corners looked out of this world.

Not that it makes any difference but Lewis was 0.8 slower than Leclerc. So many factors and what if's at Fiorano that it's a non-issue.

Bahrain testing also is not about times.

The true test will be in Melbourne come qualifying and race and possibly 3 to 4 races after Melbourne to get a true meaning of where Lewis's pace is at in qualifying and race against Leclerc.

fastest times mean very very little in testing, but consistency can tell a little more. So far Lewis has had some moments adapting to the Ferrari, so we'll see how he does when he's doing 75-100+ laps in a day.

Also, Ferrari has a great record of winning the "winter championship," which means they often set the bar during testing, only to fizzle out when rubber meets the track during race weekends. Ultimately, much of this meaningless to the viewer outside of the car not habitually breaking down, the drivers looking uncomfortable/unhappy, or even worse, binning it often.

Truly predicting an accurate order at testing is almost impossible, especially given that most of these cars (if not all?) are at their final evolution.

You can tell if a car is truly awful by it's behavior or improved, but a true order...not really. We couldn't really tell if the Ferrari, Mclaren or Red Bull is the quickest really as the difference is marginal at best, fuel loads, engine modes etc are unknown for the most part so it's pretty irrelevant.

I'm sure it's already been covered but the blue flap on the wing is just horrible to look at. Anyway, back to squabblin'.
