    Sainz handled it betetr because the crap mostly happened on Charles side! What did Sainz lose? If i recall he gained a victory at Silverstone after Rueda screwd Charles, he finished Monaco ahead of Charles after Rueda screwd Charles, and how many more times?

    I think there is difference between Leclerc and Sainz when it comes to age and the fervor of wanting to win.

    Sainz definitely has his age, which is a plus, and is more reserved against the mess up towards against him and hardly shows it on team radio. He accepts the downfalls and tries to turn it around.

    Leclerc wants to win and he's young as well so that's a minus against him when Ferrari messes up. He voices his frustration over team radio and that last rant he had was just over the top against his team. Again, this is years of "taking-it-in-the-chin" and it just mastecized and he couldn't hold it no more. I get where Leclerc is coming from.

    I think you answered your own question.

    "Charles, do you feel like you're ready to win a championship?"

    Yes, "I feel like I'm ready for a championship."

    Why doesn't Leclerc invoke the right to silence ?

    From the article
    What is so "silly" and "stupid"? If they did not act confident and project positive attitude what criticism would you levy on them?

    Likely because the headline would be "Leclerc remains silent when asked if he is ready to fight for title." Have to pick your poison, I suppose.

    I like realism above all, not bombastic statements.
    Leclerc could at least wait after a few GP before commenting on his chances.

    He does proceed to say, “We [Ferrari] just need a car that, throughout the season, is capable of doing that," stating what we all already know.

    The answer should have been "Am I ready? That is the only reason Im on the grid"

    "Leclerc responds with sarcastic frustration when asked if he is ready to fight for title"

    See where I'm going with this? It's a meaningless dog and pony show with the media trying to play "I gotcha" on a bad day.

    Over analysis of something the press would normally ask drivers yearly.

    Bad arithmetic::

    LH = 7 WDC
    CL = 0 WDC

    7:0 is a lot different than 7:1

    Happens each year and obvious similar questions at each race. This is not really a shock is it?? Drivers say alot of useless things as well.

    Who said it's a shock? Questions were asked and answers were provided and explained. What are we not getting here?

    Bumping Ferrari's number one driver thread to the top. :D

    Just a few hours over three weeks until round one. Best of luck to Charles and Lewis.

    I am really hopeful for Ferrari and especially Charles this year. That last drive of last year was amazing. He's got some fire now.

    I like your enthsiasm, but can Leclerc be called Number One at Ferrari, when he is paid far less than Hamilton ?

    He was paid less than Vettel too. By the way, Vettel aso arrived to Ferrari after being beaten by his younger team mate. So I wouldn´t draw any conclussions yet.

    You have to really wonder what’s is going on in his head with this nonstop 24/7 Lewis circus. Even Ferrari’s own social accounts are blatantly slanted and nauseating.

    Hopefully he is finally getting pissed off and has a fire in his belly so he comes out swinging and puts Lewis in his place. Charles needs to be as ruthless as possible IMO. Play the “team” guy when eyes are on him but be cold and calculating on the track. I wouldn’t even share info/data with Lewis if I was him.

    This is Charles last chance.
