Ahh, ok. So it's CF over the original piece, right? Also, isn't MA Carbon in the bay area?

    .

    Thank You.
This just bolted right up. Thankfully the owner before had it on his 430 and had the holes drilled for me already. You need to make 1 hole on each rail to make them fit but it’s easy.

Simon I just saw your post. Amazing! I will be at the Enzo Cruise In with Charles and group. Looking forward to seeing your awesome build in person. BTW your 360 and 458 were epic. My ears always bled when driving behind you.

Are you going to remove the trim piece across the bottom of the hoops? I had a look and decided that I needed to.

I haven't yet fitted my carbon hoops.

You have a set as well? Man I really missed out on my searching. Are yours from a 16m or aftermarket?

So there are 2 strips of fabric(leather, alcantara)attached to the carbon on each ends. Theres a thin strip and a thick strip for the front part. YES you need both strips and when you install them they stitch together like a steering wheel.
On my RH hoop, the strips were removed but thankfully they saved them and I got it with it....I had to hand stitch it back together. Then I removed the factory leather and just re installed with the carbon ones. They fit like a glove, its a perfect fit with the factory strips.
I finished it up last night. Ill post pics in a few

Amazing. The carbon and aluminum work beautify. My personal opinion would be to leave the shifter all bare aluminum. Too much carbon in certain spots looks aftermarket, it'll look great either way. Very difficult task making Ferrari elegance still pronounced while throwing some full bore race beast mode parts in there. Looks better than a factory built car, hats off my man. I am very, very impressed.

    Thank You !
I hear you. That why I only did oem carbon stuff. The 16m already has a lot of carbon and when you add aftermarket carbon it starts to look over done. I have to see what it looks like with the shifter collar. I see how it looks on the CS with the carbon shift knob like the way collegeboy and 650kid did their CS and it looks so nice.
My center console is OEM carbon for manual cars.
Really tho the 16m has so much carbon already there’s no room for aftermarket carbon

I just re read this. Were you talking about the trim piece meaning the black wind screen under the hoops? I didn’t know how to remove them I left mine in while installing the hoops. It definitely would have been way faster and easier without them especially during stitching.

The carbon trim looks great on your car,
I’m happy you got and will fit mot your build than my CS spider. Are you going for Scuderia steering rack? I will fit my CS spider Scuderia rack, I think your car needs one also, looks like your going all the way

Yes, that's the part that I was referring to. On my car the stitching runs down and behind it, so I figured I'd remove it.
