What’s the best way to determine if the car was fixed under recall? My service history is a little incomplete
Just need to remove the larger engine covers and look at the color of the pumps. I read in another post that the original fuel pumps are white in color, and if they have been replaced the new ones are an off-white/tan/light brown ish color.
I stupidly tried to epoxy my passenger side and about a year later it leaked. Replaced both before joining the bonfire brigade. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Sad to see this. Thankfully no one was heart. This would be traumatic and humiliating and I hope the owner is taking it in stride.
IATT - can you be a little more specific? I’m interested in checking the color on mine… Unless RN knows if mines already been done too?! Kevin
You can see the color difference in the pictures that I posted above. The white one is the older one and the tan one is the newer one. The newer tan ones have been known to leak also however so don’t just rely on the color if you smell gas.
Same exact pumps on my 599. I check for any smell regularly, the problem with the 599 is that you have rip the interior apart to get to the pumps. There is no entry from the trunk which really sucks. I'm not sure if this will work in the 430/599 pump but this is the fix: https://gtcp.com/product/upgraded-aluminum-fuel-pump-mounting-plate-for-ferrari/
I see the color difference - how easy to get to this (there’s two of them?) to check that color? Kevin
There’s two. Have to remove both engine covers if it’s a coupe. Spyders have smaller covers that can be removed.
Thanks! I found several helpful YouTube videos and - since I have a spyder - is super easy to check and doesn't look tough to replace either. Kevin
Get this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CLLXHD73?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1 It's worth the small price versus attempting to break the lock rings free if they're on there tight.
