When one wants to integrate in a very new and high profile/historic organization, one should wear white, not green if all members are in green. We also do not know what stipulations are contained in the contract with respect to that item. Sponsors might have say in team gear wear by all during race weekends and time in the paddock and garage.

My thinking regarding gear: Lewis will create a line of “Ferrari fashion” that he’ll wear to and from the arena, as well as in public appearances. On race weekends he’ll wear “team gear” — but there will be plenty of Lewis Hamilton x Ferrari merchandising.
Chris Medland F1 journalist in Bahrain -BBC IMAGE SOURCE, GETTY IMAGES Ferrari chairman John Elkann made a rare appearance at testing yesterday, and was in the race control building for a spell before he walked into the Ferrari garage to chat with Lewis Hamilton. That came during a lull in running due to this morning's rain, so Hamilton was out of the car for a while. Elkann recommended a book he's reading to his new driver, with Hamilton saying their relationship is based more on "normal life stuff" than shared racing interests. According to Italian media, Elkann has only made one other visit to pre-season testing in the past seven years, but this is a well-timed trip. The hype surrounding Hamilton has been enormous, and Ferrari are also very much targeting championships after the strong second half of 2024 they had. The early signs for the new Hamilton-Ferrari partnership have been encouraging, with the seven-time world champion saying he is enjoying driving the car so far, as he started to push its limits a little bit more this morning. Hamilton says he's confident there is plenty more potential in the car to explore, too.
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but given the attention I should ask who is this lady carrying sandwiches? So that I don't miss anything of importance here.
She' s actually more than a PA, she's a physiotherapist and she indeed became very close to Hamilton during his successful Mercedes years (leaving them in 2023). Her comeback is certainly a good sign, showing how seriously Hamilton is considering his work with Ferrari.
One does have to wonder how all the attention sits with Charles. I think he’s okay being out of the limelight for a while, but I could very well be wrong. That said, if the boss of bosses at Ferrari only visited Hamilton, I would worry for how that impacted LeClerc.
If Leclerc is the quicker driver the attention to Lewis goes away quickly. Aside from the British media, so for Charles he'll be unbothered about that.
No evidence of that when Russell was quicker than Sir Lewis Hamilton. Charles will get more attention if he is leading the championship possibly. Even then, Sir Lewis Hamilton will get more media. But Charles getting more attention without doing something significant.... forget about it.
The Italian media will "eat Hamilton for lunch" if and when Leclerc beats him in qualifying and race and then for dessert if Hamilton is outside the top 10 in qualifying and race. "The mob is fickle." As it stands currently, the Italian media are in love with Hamilton. Btw, the Italian media are nothing compared to the British media. IF this happens, Vasseur and Elkann will defend Hamilton (as expected) for making an "on-track" blunder but Elkann will be all smiles because he has made ALOT of money in Hamilton merchandise sales.
No evidence of anything you are saying. Sir Lewis Hamilton has been outside the top ten with Mercedes. Yet more Italians showed up on his first day than Schumachers first day. Sir Lewis Hamilton is already a icon. Doesn't matter what he does now. The focus should be shifting to younger drivers and interest when he retires.
It might not matter to you what Hamilton does now, but it might matter to the Italian media, Italians, FChatters, Youtubers, and social media influencers IF Hamilton doesn't deliver compared to Leclerc.
It’s amazing how much hype he is getting when in reality he’s been average at best for the past three years. It’s comical how the WDC champ and front runners get ignored while everyone fawns over F1 Jesus. They really are hell bent on force feeding us this storyline till we choke on it. One would think the other drivers have had it with the lopsided favoritism as well. I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if they just start calling it Formula Lewis. Barf!!!
