I am looking for a spider but in the same boat as you, waiting for most of them to get into the $500s.

On the spiders, there have been pretty significant cuts on cars listed in the past 2 months. I would keep waiting.

If you want to do a group buy together let me know. I think you're right on the money and they will go down.

That was a nice spec and quite frankly there aren't many competitors to that car in that price range. At some point these will flatten out, if the convertibles get in the 500k range then they will sell quickly and supply will greatly be reduced.

There are similar specs in the $640 range and higher specs in the $660 range, all sold by dealers and have been listed for months.

That's why I thought this would end up under $600.

BAT is just weird like that. I have bought a few cars off BAT but once in a while folks with more money than sense have a few drinks and keep bidding lol.

Decent number for a 2023 for sure on the SF90 Spider on BAT. Did it sell to a dealer, so that's effectively wholesale?

I reached out on a spider that is listed at $649k, similar spec to the one that sold on BAT. Asked him if he would match the BAT sold price of $605k and he thought we were "miles apart".

It's going to be fun to see what the next few months do to SF90 pricing.

  12. I go to drive the SF90 over the weekend, and drive it with some enthusiasm (not my car, so was respectful to the owner).

    Buy the car to drive.

    Don't buy it to sell.

    Just a wonderful car.

This is purely speculation on my part, but I believe we’re approaching the price floor for these cars. I expect they’ll dip into the high $300k range. When compared to the price of a 296, the value of an SF90 is unbeatable. I’d love to buy one, drive it for a couple of years, break even, and then trade it for something else.

Not disagreeing, idk to be honest, but hard to compare to the 296. Enough peeps here have said the sound is so bad on the sf90 they wouldn’t consider it over the 296. I’ve not driven it.

Agree w Dustman. I am fortunate in that I could have either or both. Love the 296 and I don’t have any real interest in an sf90. Love the sound and size of the 296 so one’s price may not have a direct impact on the other. Don’t know but time will tell

A friend if mine just picked one up for $468k. Decently spec'd with race seats, CPO, and Hyrbrid Warranty. I think he did well.

Listings are a bit all over the place on spiders. I would say in the last month or so most everything has trended under $700k. The ones that are over $700k will probably sit for a while until seller pays attention to the market.

There are base cars out there in the very low $600k range, and tailor made ones in the $650k range. I'm guessing the one you are looking at is still close to its MSRP. The question becomes if that seller will look at the rest of the comps seriously or be stubborn.

Thank you. The car I am looking at is a brand new car with a sticker around 815,000.00. I think it can be bought for around 750,000.00 not sure if that is a good deal or not

A "good deal" is going to be different for everyone. It will probably be valued close to $100k less the moment you drive it off the lot.

On the other hand, you got a brand new sf90 that you really like, without needing to wait multiple years for it. That alone could make it a good deal for you. There being cars out there with bigger price reductions and specs that don't fit your wants, shouldn't matter as much.

I feel like the way things are going, the SF90 is going to drop to below sub $400. It might take a bit though. Perhaps I should try to get a 992.2 Turbo S allocation and drive that for a bit while I wait for a CPO SF90 in a spec I like?

  22. You'll probably lose as much in depreciation on the 992.2 TTS as you would by not waiting and simply buying an SF90 you like, now.

    Don't over think things.

Occam was right. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best solution.

The 992 TTS market is wildly high still. I just missed on two of them I was wanting for a daily.
