Stay safe Pat and FFS stay off the ladder in Gail force winds..The model shows it’s slowed down and intensifying and will probably cross the coast late tomorrow…
Hmm, wild seas up here (like huge waves breaking more than 500m offshore) but all else is quiet - windy off and on but no gales, about 12mm rain this week so far. Stocked up and will decide this afternoon whether to dig out the camp stove/lamp etc and bring in the balcony furniture. The cyclone position has barely moved since yesterday... I think, unfortunately, Goldie is going to cop worse than Sunshine, and poor Northern NSW will get walloped again with storm surge/flooding. Take care everyone further south!
Nothing here on the Northside of Brisbane. Blue skies this morning, suns out, very little cloud, light winds. No rain to speak of yesterday either. Insane knee jerk reaction yesterday IMO, close ALL public transport, close all businesses, close young's crossing near here, not a drop of rain mind you, most people had to go the long way round to get their kinds from school, a 20 min job blows out to a 2 hr job. Local IGA'S shops etc, completely out of the usual stuff, date roll first to be cleaned out, can never understand this fixation with dunny wrap WTF??? Besides there's plenty of old newspapers with pics ol Albo, Chris Bowen and Penny Wrong on them. Bottled water?? Well if its raining that much put a bucket outside, its failing from the sky for free, bread and milk of course. I had to get some ice creams for my grand kids on the way home, and there at the checkout is this woman, a real big unit, trying to take 12 dozen boxes of eggs and a pile of other stuff she had hoovered off the shelves into her overflowing trolley, didn't like it when she was asked to put most of it back. Tragic greedy behavior.
Probably the reason for no date roll..If you eat 12 dozen eggs you are going to Shjt like a big black Alsatian!…
Nup it's just tryin' to work out where Albo and Chalmers are going to be then come roarin' in like a tonup locomotive.
Well personally I hope it stays where it is and foik the lot of you as I'm flying to Sydeney Saturday to pickup a ute and drive back northwest through Orange, overnight in Yeoval (that's where biiig weather was going to be),and onward to Bourke etc.
Sydney I think is forecasting heavy rain over Saturday / Sunday I think Simon..Whom knows if they will get it right?..Weather is nice up here in Jakarta.. Image Unavailable, Please Login

There is a brilliant business idea there, bog roll with pics of Albo, Bowen and Wong. I'd also include Chalmers.
Lost power for a few hours today, but back on now. It's bloody blowy, those Energex guys are doing a great job. Internet went down when the Telstra exchange lost power. Backup battery didn't work (of course). Anyway, I see nothing new around here, so I didn't miss much. Went down to the ocean - 5-6m waves. Great stuff!
Have you been listening to the media saying there are 15 metre waves ? I call BS, all the surf clubs would be gone Where we eat ?!?!
