I never got around to installing this wheel and have decided to let it go to someone who will.

It is in like new condition and will come with Ferrari center cap #157588 which I just ordered from Eurospares.

I cannot authenticate the use of the hub as I never installed it but I was advised that it will work. Consider this a freebie to the sale with no guarantee of its effectiveness.

I'm also including Ferrari plugs for the screw holes. I never confirmed that they were included as OEM but they do fit.

    $8500

Bob, do you know the history of this particular steering wheel and where it might have come from? It’s not trimmed like standard pre-airbag steering wheels. It looks like the one in the super early 355 marketing brochures, but I have yet to see it on a 355.

Either someone re-trimmed this to achieve the same look or it is an uber rare prototype-ish/super early example.

I've had it for about 7 years bought from an another fchatter.

I've seen that photo and other original installs that look like mine.

All the leather looks to have the same luster and finish so I think it is all original.

Photos are often deceiving, not anybody's fault. Are there ANY scratches?

"Like new", does not mean "new' to me, or potentially others.

Thank you for sharing a magnificent wheel.

    Regards,
    Alberto

I'll take as many photos as you want if it.

The only scratch if you will is visible in one of the photos above. About 4mm next to the left push button

Got any photos of original installs that have a steering wheel like yours?

This is what most pre-airbag wheels look like. Take a closer look at yours and you’ll realize the differences.

The very early/prototype cars / steering wheels didn't have the perforated portion at 9:00 and 3:00.

I haven't seen on on a road car. So I guess he's asking if it's been reupholstered or maybe it's a little extra rare.

I think that this is an awesome piece. I am one of the few that likes the original “bag in” wheel along with the original wheels.

GLWS... someone will be really happy with this.

The 355 non airbag wheel center won't actually fit a 456 wheel, they are slightly different size.

The 355 wheel is leather covered stamped steel center.

    456 is aluminum.
