Sounds like anti Korean propaganda to me. Even the Kia boyz can’t kill these things. You must be an insurance agent. R@ped ape made me laugh so hard btw

Love that. I almost bought a Bison to do a mild overland build on it but after driving it I just couldn't get past how painfully slow and unresponsive the four pot is. :(

This has been my so called daily for the last year and a half. 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392. Very fun Jeep, 8600 miles zero issues. I also have a 2022 Porsche Cayenne that is more my wife's that I take on work trips around FL/GA/SC but showing up to customers in that can be troublesome.

However I need to sell the Jeep as both of us are doing a little more work travel this year. I am thinking about the new Lexus GX550, Toyota Land Cruiser ( I've never owned a Japanese vehicle because I'm too tall) or a Ford Explorer, or Chevy Tahoe.... something like that....any suggestions?

Love my 392 but cannot stand it on freeways or above 65. Far too noisy with Skytouch and those massive off-roaders. Like the Land Cruiser best of your options.

My Raptor rides like a Lincoln Town Car on the highway. Biggest surprise when I bought my first one.

Mine goes down the highway at 80 just fine. My friend just put the 1/4" longer Mopar lower control arms on his 392 and it steering even better. Best $99 mod going, looks stock zero Mopar warranty issues! I love my Jeep but job travel changing back to more how it was before covid with work travel.

I got the 2024 mostly due to the better rear axle. I had thoughts of building it up some like I did my 2015 I had. However after 1yr and 4 months I still have not taken it off-road and no time or friends to do it with anymore.

Awesome, Florida doesn't have great off-roading unless you like mud and tight trails that scratch up paint. There are a few places that are OK and an off road park but it's far from me. This was my 2015 JK pictured....this is about what we have....

I bought my son the new GX, it is a lot of car for the money. Only issue is the wind noise with the roof rack. Take it for a drive and see if you can live with it. The Land Cruiser only has a 4 cylinder so that is a deal breaker for me.

Do you have 37's or the stock 35s? The 37's make it feel so much better.

Turn in your man card! I have 4 kids (grown up now) and vowed never to own a mini van and I did not. We had Suburbans and Escalades, I will not deny that mini vans offer a lot of pluses for families. Just not for me.

My daughter still has a manual transmission 2016 Soul chugging along with still less than 50k miles. Took her from high school, through college (Howdy Aggies), and now on her 2nd job. Fun little car to drive with a manual....total lack of "modern" features and driver aids.

Would keep the 392, so unique and fun to drive....turns into a convertible in 20 seconds to with the power top. Great to hoon around in, best Jeep ever!

Guys always want to wedge in huge tires and complain when they get huge tire problems (not saying you specifically but in general). I have the stock 33" tires (and SOT) and feel very comfortable on the highway up to the speed limiter.

Bought my wife the GX550 back in November. Luxury+ trim for reference. Almost has 5k miles on it now so can chime in a bit. Lots of torque gives the perception the SUV is actually quicker than it is, and it’s actually pretty fun to punch on the roads. Love that the volume and hvac have physical buttons. Nice car, we both enjoy it but I don’t drive it often. Serious lack of interior space for the front row is my only issue. Toyota also does a poor job on CarPlay integration (it’s fast but they don’t stop music/podcast when reading texts which is so idiotic). We wanted something with three rows for the kids, and not disappointed with the purchase. Not thrilled with dealer network though.
