I'm getting ready to buy an aftermarket exhaust for my 2v Euro, and I want to make sure I've seen all options.
After doing a forum search, my list of manufacturers:

    Available Systems:

    Ansa
    Capristo
    Custom (muffler shop-built)
    Larini
    Mille Miglia
    Nouvalari
    Superformance
    Tubi

    NLA'd Systems:

    Stebro
    X-Ost

    Am I missing any?

Anyone tried fitting a Valvetronic exhaust on their 308?

Would be happy to share photos of my experience with SF and Nouvalari if you want to send me a PM.

I'd go with a Tubi. The quality is hard to beat. I also really like the sound.

Are you comfortable with the louder exhaust volume of most aftermarket systems? If you drive the car routinely, that may be an important factor. If your use consists of a 20 minute Sunday drive to the local coffee shop, it may not be.

FWIW, I have driven my '89 328 across the US 3 times and, each time, found the STOCK exhaust too loud for extended periods and wore ear plugs. My point is not to discourage an aftermarket exhaust, just to be sure you are aware of/OK with the additional dB level.

Agreed (UK version). After about 90 minutes I need to stop stretch and have some quiet! After about 4 hours it’s time to stop for a decent rest. But I blame old age!

Kline does not look to be an option for F cars older than the 355.

I have the Ansa headers and muffler on my 78 with a Euro engine. I love the sound it makes. They have been on the car sense the early 80’s. Ansa is not know (or use to be) for lasting but mine have done well. There are exhaust of better quality but I still love the way my car sounds. I don't find them too loud cursing at highway speeds but sound is very subjective.

I am not - my first step is to see what's available, then to find one that isn't louder. I have a stock single-tip exhaust on my 79' Euro GTB, and even it's too loud after an hour or so. I think I may have to go the custom route to get what I'm looking for.

I love the look of the Ansa system, but I've read they don't last. For what they charge, they really ought to be built out of SS.

I'm in the same boat with my car, but have had good results going the custom route in the past, so am pretty committed to it this time around as well. Here's some random exhaust-related bits I've collected to support an improved single-outlet solution. That said, improving flow and shedding weight are my goals with little consideration given to the resulting noise; whether that be louder or quieter than stock. The first pic of the installed exhaust is YouTuber No. 27's car.
