None the less... internally McLaren likes Norris over Oscar. Too much invested in the guy.

His team told him his brakes were gone. That’s more like a reason than an excuse.

    etc.

I hate to point out the obvious, but it appears the secret to their success was replacing Italians with the best of the best while still in their prime age.

Oscar learns from his mistakes, McLaren can love Lando all they like but it's still a performance based sport.

In two races we'll see who they start backing ....
my guess is Oscar, Lando makes too many mistakes, I've waited many years for an Aussie that is a true winner, DR was close but the drink company was always going to shaft him

Oscar can always fail but so far he just keeps getting better with very little fanfare

He kept saying the pedal travel was long but the engineers said it was braking normally

So the pedal is long so what , Schumacher would have mentioned that in passing to his engineer, drivers today are getting soft and entitled

The last several laps they were telling him to conserve brakes

True, he had a big lead on princess George and F1 cars are braking whenever they lift off the throttle but it would still be scary stopping from 300+

Be nice to know the truth because we all know radio messages are not always truthful

But a tweet posted 30mins earlier Ralf said it wouldn't make sense for him to go. Maybe it's a bad translation.

Yuki Tsunoda soon at Red Bull? According to Sky expert Ralf Schumacher, this move wouldn't make sense for the Japanese: "He can't do himself any favors by doing it."

Here's the irony of underweight by a kilo.

Most likely Leclerc wasn't underweight until sometime in the last lap when 4 lbs of fuel burned off and then the cool down lap. Its meaningless.

Today, F1 seems like little more than a side quest and Ferrari appears more interested in breaking into other markets like the fashion industry. They really are no longer synonymous with racing in my eyes, just incompetence and douchebaggery.

    Ughhh. :(

    D'oh.

    Witty. :D

I think you're seeing it. Honestly, loving Ferrari is painful more often than not.

    All the best,

I need not to add any bubble with text or anything alike, it's self-explanatory. Feel free though to use it, as it's meme-material for sure.

It happened post-race; in Sainz's face there's a special kind of a smile, whilst on Vasseur's face a very distinctive gesture that could resemble a "very funny, f**k off" kind of one.

Up to anyone's imagination what was discussed there.

Perhaps it was but culinary tips and tricks that were exchanged, who knows

Maybe Sainz gesture is more like "Good luck buddy!"
