And yet they would have us believe that they invented the boomerang which requires knowledge of aerodynamics

    I'm not buying it

Rubbish - most inventions came BEFORE the 'discipline' was even thought of or named - da Vinci drew 'flying machines' centuries before the Wright brothers; the first vaccination for small pox was centuries before anyone knew what a virus was.
All of these things came about due to OBSERVATION.
The phrase I most hate these days is 'you can't be what you can't see' - turning everyone into 'followers' rather observers who become inventors/leaders.

Hold it, so you're telling me that they observed a "stick" coming back to them ?

Having ancestors that ACTUALLY documented and built stuff I find it impossible to believe people who have "supposedly" been here for 65,000 years firstly couldn't invent the SIMPLEST one, the wheel, and then "wrote" about everything by drawing on a rock ..... really ??!!

Bernoulli's Principle is easy to observe IF you have a piece of paper ........ blowing over the surface of a lump of wood ? Not helpful in designing a boomerang

so you would have us believe that a nation of people with the IQ of a 10yo would have a think tank that would sit down and discuss the positive and negatives of a bent piece of wood returning to the thrower but they still cooked their food on an open fire ?

The aborigines lost me when I worked in Mt Isa in 73 ...... I had been playing pool all day in Boyd's hotel with the loser buying the winner a beer, my aboriginal mate (lived in the next neighbourhood) finally won a game so I bought him a beer, he refused to accept a 'white man's beer' .... I walked out

    Totally Agree.
This was well illustrated from the things we saw in the UK and Europe on our holiday.
To see the art works, roads, sculptures, written literature from Bath from 70 AD, the Bayeux tapestry depicting the Norman invasion of 1066!!
The massive art works in the Louvre and Versailles and we compare it to somebody getting a gob full of muddy water and spitting it over your hand onto a rock. Don't say anything about dot paintings.
Churches and towns from the 12th century chopped from massive stones and hauled into place, Mont Saint Michelle for one.
Ok you were here first. I have some questions.
Well what the F*%ck have you been doing for the last 4000 years???? What have you achieved???? How have you evolved as a people??
How would you know you even existed if for some reason they just vanished.
It's like pulling your hand from a bucket of water, give it a minute and you'd never know they were here.

Are you referring to Jenner, who coined the term vaccination? And the principles of aerodynamics were indeed known centuries before the Wright brothers.

No they just fiddled around with bits of wood until they found something that worked - that's how most true 'inventions' worked... They didn't try to explain WHY it worked, it just did! Give up on the wheel argument - they just didn't NEED it!
So some bloke dissed you 50 years ago - if I dismissed the race of every bloke who's dissed me in my life there'd be big queue!

Yes, Jenner's first innoculation was in 1796; but the term 'virus' (which is what smallpox is) wasn't termed until 1898. He punted on the fact that the milder disease of cowpox gave immunity, which proved true. No way of testing in thise days, just hunches and trial and error - same way boomerangs developed I would imagine.
And yes, Da Vinci had guessed pretty well at 'aerodynamics' (have you ever seen the models built from his drawings at the museum in Milano? Amazing.) but term 'aerodynamics' didn't come into use until the 1800s...

Yes western society has created many amazing things - but how many of those things were solutions to problems?!?!?! So much of those wonders had to do with religion; and at what cost did they come from the hands of the ordinary person?
This is the bit that non-aboriginal people don't get: they found solutions to their problems and didn't worry about stuff beyond that. They WERE able to live in the environment they were born into and didn't need 'stuff'.
We whiteys have 'evolved' to the point that most can barely move out of their airconditioned McMansions...

It's bad enough I was dragged up as a Catholic with ALL of the baggage that brings but the rainbow serpent and dreamtime ??????

Oh I know they were treated badly by the white man over the last 200+ years but don't come crying to me for MONEY over something other people have done

Show me ONE substantial structure the aboriginals built in 65,000 years

And here is the ultimate, IF an asteroid was coming for earth :

    1. how would they know ?
    2. what could they do about it ?
    3. if they needed to leave the planet as a last resort how would they do it ?

True aboriginals are simple, good people, the city abos are lazy and expect handouts, literally, I lived in Sydney 2018-2020 and worked near Redfern, there were 3 buildings called "the three sisters" which had mostly aboriginals living in them and EVERY day there were several black fellas sitting on the footpath from my office to the pub on my way to lunch begging for money

I was such a pu55y that I would feel sorry for them and empty my loose change into their hands

Whether it went to grog or food I have no idea but I found it hard to ignore a human sitting on a cold footpath .... AND I tried to ignore them but I'm sure if any of us here saw these pathetic souls like that you would do the same thing

Semantics, they knew what it was, it just didn't have the definitive name. Both Jenner and Da Vinci documented their work. And I have seen the models.
