Honestly, if someone wrote a soap opera using what's going on in America right now, it wouldn't get produced - people would think it too far fetched!
In the month before D-Day, The Daily Telegraph crossword had the solution words Utah, Omaha, Overlord, Mulberry, and Neptune. Interesting back-story, but too long for Horse to read.
https://theconversation.com/three-graphs-that-show-whats-happening-with-donald-trumps-popularity-252857 You're delusional, just like Trump Now the Japanese are tightening the financial screws
Someone better tell those right wing nut jobs at CNN… Go to 9:45 if you don’t want to be triggered by the other stuff
I thought it was very generous of me not to mention the reference to “The Conversation”. A bigger bunch of embarrassingly clueless fools it would be impossible to find anywhere on the planet. Those morons provide more material to the “Lefties Losing It” segment than any other. Lol.
Don't bother with Sky, it's FOS Seriously, your tin god will fall from grace and you MAGA gullibles will cry foul as usual As an Australian I used to have a fondness for the US but thanks to one idiot , I and most of the intelligent world have been affronted, Canada, Europe, UK, Japan, Mexico, who knows next NATO needed a kick in the bum, fine, but talk of annexing, Canada, Greenland and Panama is naziesque Siding with dictators and despots is disgusting while having trade wars with allies who have lost sons and daughters in wars they were asked to join by the US in BS WMD "skirmishes" An absolute slap in the face to those dead military people from those countries
Why do facts upset lefties so much? Is it because they are entirely driven by emotion? All I did was post how even the hard core left CNN admitted that Trump is more popular now than he was previously.
And I can find a stack of sites that refute your horseshjt, so what I hate those fwits on Sky and I refuse to watch CNN as well, unbalanced babbling BS from both i hope our election doesn't degenerate to the US level as their style of politics is very devisive
All good mate. The bit I’ve always struggled with is why are lefties so unwilling to admit that they are lefties? I’m quite happy to say I’m a righty. But every obviously card carrying lefty Ive ever met tries to claim something else. Why? That said, I can understand how embarrassing it my be for a grown man to admit to being a lefty, unless they are a Homer sexual.
Steve what is your point of view re: buying/annexing/stealing Greenland? What is your point of view of the Trump admin saying Canada will/could/should be the 51st United State AND how will they achieve this outcome? I and a few others here are keen to read your answer, thanx.
I don’t care. Is that ok? Trump was elected saying that he would put America first. And the American people first. He is doing exactly that. It’s hilarious that the same people who keep telling America to but out of world affairs have a sook when they actually do.
None of you lefties seem to understand how negotiations between adults actually work. Let me spell it out for you. Trump is currently making a bunch of shotgun style ambit claims all over the place because it’s time for a bit of reality in world politics. On one level he is absolutely right. And it helps that he’s doing it from a point of strength. On another, he’s a bit over the top. The truth, as always, is somewhere in the middle.
All that anyone has to do to understand Trump's MO is read his book, "The Art of the Deal". What amuses me is that people who neither live or vote in the US become so wound up by their local socialist media over Trump. Meanwhile actual issues are never discussed, e.g. knife crime in the UK or the 5.6% drop in productivity in Australia since 2022. Your quality of life is disappearing, but hating Trump is the conversation.
As a left leaning but an open minded person I find it insulting how easy the right leaning are so keen to ram their POV . The problem with Trump is his administration IS affecting other country's trust in the US by being erratic AND plain lying I have been around long enough to have seen many POTUS and I have never seen one vote with Russia, speak derogatorily of other countries (Denmark, Canada, Europe ,etc) and destroy long standing relationships with so many countries that took many decades to build Trust is a huge component of relationships and unless you've been through a broken relationship you don understand how important that is Do I care what America does, not really but in the 50+ years I've been going there I've seen it go from trusted to untrusted, from the leader of the western values to siding with dictators and murderers which makes them look like the schoolyard bully
Pretty much all of which he did in his first term. ...and that ended up going well for him. I was never a Biden fan BTW,just an anti Trump one for all of the above reasons.
No it's not 'OK'. Putting Americans first is NOT the same as threatening/annexing/stealing other countries. And the only Americans getting any advantage are people like Trump himself; and Putin. Here's a non-biased Trump approval chart from statistician Nate Silver (used to be 538): https://www.natesilver.net/p/how-low-is-trumps-popularity-floor Forget media outlets.
You're quite right about the book - unfortunately it does setout exactly the aim: win at all costs, don't worry about truth... I don't understand how someone who has presided over 6 bankrupt companies is even eligible to stand for election! For that matter how he was allowed to continue registering companies?
Back on topic. Greek National Day was a few days ago (Trump held a huge reception at the White House btw ). Loads of military activity celebrating the ousting of the Ottoman and their Albanian stooges including flyovers of the Acropolis Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login And also this exercise through the Vouraikos Canyon in the Peloponnesus. Amazing stuff. Great Grandad would be proud https://youtu.be/AvtN6dRhZLA?si=NQ573h4yCIgLnX90 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
