So how many races in till we all admit Ferrari wasted $100 million? Hopefully they have an escape clause. If not, it’s going to be a looooooong two years.

Mayne they can still call Max? :D

Any hope of Hamilton winning his 8th title with Ferrari this year must have gone by now.

I thought Max was going to have a no chance season, nice to see Powered by Honda at P1.
P8 for Hadjar, 12 for Tsunoda and 17 for Lawson.
Can someone tell me that Red Bull accomplished anything by dumping Checo and then elevating and then demoting Lawson?

Antonelli is never far from Russell either.

I was doubtful before the season started, but the kid is calmly learning his trade, it seems.

Apart from (or maybe rather, including) embarassing Marko, I think Hadjar is also doing a good job.

Charles had no chance of challenging for podium, so his recourse was to merely hold off Russell. Mission accomplished. Ham tried to push on Antonelli but that proved futile, so preservation of tires and staying in front of Hadjar was all he could do. Ham made the only + position move of the top 10, so there is that.

Sounds like Ferrari issues for both drivers:

Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari worry backed by stark Charles Leclerc admission
Concern at Ferrari expressed by Lewis Hamilton also extends to Charles Leclerc

Somewhere right now there are a couple of idiots sitting around who dreamed up the 2026 rules and realize the catastrophic mistakes they've made.

DRS, but DRS for everyone. Cars no matter the position will have an DRS for front and rear wing and deploy it anywhere you like. Good luck everyone!

Agree on all accounts - super boring race. At times even more boring than Monaco. No rain, no rookie mistakes, perfect reliability, no overtakes
(even during pitstops!), no attempts to overtake! Man where is Lattiffi when a poor race needs him. Even Stroller bored us.

So many things are wrong starting from the tires. They have no effect whatsoever on the outcome. Let's do 3 compounds needed in a (dry) race or something.

I seem to recall a very recent Suzuka with tons of passing on those high speed corners... Was that just the tyres Pirelli chose to bring? Much more amusing, but regardless Max is splendid, worth his weight in gold, it will be so interesting to see where he goes next year:

1- RB gets the car going, he wins WDC, he stays
2- MB, who do they toss out? lil Georgie is getting pretty good, as is the rookie
3-AM is selling stock and Stroll selling stock in the F1 team- do they have the scratch to guarantee Max $1B, and get the '26 car going???
4- Ferrari- time to dress lil' lewee up and let him run the street car business into the ground, but can F ever get it together enough to attract Max???
