I managed to find these super rare factory inner carbon door sills from a wonderful member here that got them from a wrecked Scuderia. They really compliment the Challenge Stradale interior nicely, but these need some work.

The drivers side one had some scratches on the carbon and metal, so both were resprayed. The carbon parts had way too much clear coat applied, and it is wavy and runny all over. The metal part is too silver and does not match the other Scuderia/CS metal parts on my CS.

The passenger side had a crack in the carbon. It was repaired ok, but then way too much clear was applied. It has even more runs in the carbon, and again, the metal part is not quite the correct color.

This is exactly as I expected them to be and the Seller was wonderful to even think of me! Now I'd like to mail them to someone to do a good professional wet sand and polish job on the carbon to make it nice and smooth. I feel like for a professional, this should be easy. I work on cars, but I simply do NOT do body work. Also, I'd like them to repaint the metal to the correct color. I can even mail them one of my factory metal shifter paddles for better color matching.

I got the parts for a great price, and they are so rare, that it is worth it to me to pay someone to have these properly fixed before I install them on my car. Body shops on Kaua'i are limited, so I will just mail them. Honestly anywhere in the country is good with me, as long as they are returned to me looking perfect.

Pictures of the parts below. It does look worse in person.

    Thanks!

I'd look for a local shaper or ding repair guy who is known to do great work. This is not body repair per se, more like board repair.

This was one of my favorite mods. Definitely a hard to find piece. If you find a place at a good price, @colorfull might be interested as well. He just picked up a set that might need some polishing.

Dave is a quick drive to PA from where you live so you could literally drop them off in person.

I bought a set of carbon sills that needed fixing and had Faircloth Composites do the work as he was 30 minutes from me.

Just bought a set of used scuderia engine panels. No physical damage, but the clear is absolutely shot. Going to sand them with 600 grit and then re-clear em. My cousin just did it with the panels on a 94 Diablo and they came out mint.

All those need is some 1500-3000 sand and polishing.
