Just got my final picture. Been Stage 91 for a couple weeks now. Hope to see it soon Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mine went 91 3/28. Still 91. How did the dealer get an update? No status change, just an update about scheduling?
No idea, but clearly there is no consistent timing on anything related to the status numbers. Once you get close to a delivery it's anyone's guess regarding actual delivery. I have a friend that was told his arrived in the port in NJ about 10 days after I received the same info (first week in March). He received his car this past week, and I'm being told mine still shows at the port (i.e. not yet on a truck heading to dealer). About 6 months ago another good friend was told his was on the ocean, expected in port within 2 weeks, and about a week later they called to tell him it was at the dealership. I guess it's hard to tell when it will actually clear customs, get checked, and picked up by truck to move to the dealership. This happened as well for my 488 Spider delivery when I purchased it many years ago. Regarding my 296, I've been told 3 separate times over the past 6 weeks "it should be here within 2 weeks." I no longer believe the system has any consistent way to know when we get our cars, they just show up at some point, so I stopped checking. Ferrari is good at getting marketing literature to all owners in a timely manner, and it's well organized, but their service to individual owners leaves a lot to be desired. Just look at how timely our factory build photo's arrive, so it should be no surprise that using status numbers does nothing but provide a general comment that the car is out there somewhere working its way to you. I'll just wait for the call someday.
Thanks, hope so as well, but I know I can't affect when that will happen at this point, just have to wait out the process!
No other choice but to wait. I'm excited about the 25s because of the new steering wheel. I had a 23 GTS and it had numerous issues, which are hopefully solved. If so, it will be a great car. I'm also jazzed about the hybrid warranty which covers the battery for 8 years.
As far as the steering wheel…..From what I can see on some photos the haptic directional pad on the right side has been converted from haptic type to a four way directional push button design… Are there other differences/improvements? Thanks
I think there is still a haptic aspect but the surface is not flat like it was. I believe the steering wheel is supposed to be more like the Purosague. The warranty is new and hopefully they have resolved issues with the check engine light, the windshield wiper guard, the squeaky chassis and the windshield clicking sound when the roof is open.
Also check the inside of your rear wheel arches. They have installed a mesh to help with the destruction of the felt like inner arch where there are slots cut into it . I hope it works as I have seen these ripped from track days . I have yet to track mine
They had to replace the sway bars on mine. Also, the Purosangue steering wheel video shows the need to swipe left or right or up or down on the cross, even though the buttons are possibly raised. There is also a spot in the middle used as the execute function. There are indents on the left side of the wheel for cruise, resume, lane keeping (ADAS?), voice and phone. I still think they are haptic. Does anyone have the 2025 296 wheel to verify?
Got a VIN finally, in the app today. Reveal date was April 19, 2022 and I paid the next morning, so 3 years from deposit to build start.
My GTS made it to the dealer today….hopefully will get delivered next week.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mine too. Since March 28! My dealer says they have 15 cars sitting there - some for longer than mine!
Delivered a month ago. 1000 kms in. Run in. Ready for trip to Wales. And Scotland. And Northern Spain. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had my port arrival date wrong, it arrived in the port of NJ on March 23, and was still coded as being there as of the last update. I'm not sure how often they update status codes.
